Five on Friday

1. My little sweetheart. I was going through the closet and found this glittery heart…..he kept peeking his head through so I had to take a photo!

2. I love my Naked 2 Palette. It’s the best eyeshadow I’ve ever purchased and I wear it every day…. But….obviously I use a few colors more than others. Do they sell refills to this thing???

3. I’ve really enjoyed doing the Stock Show in Fort Worth this year. We’ve had the best weather I think we’ve ever had! *knock on wood* I found this old photo of Connor the first time we took him out there….he’s so TINY!!! It just makes me realize how fast the years are flying by. We are there every Saturday during the Stock Show from 11-1!

4. This is a typical “Connor look” he’s getting so funny these days…

5. We had Uncle Royce come stay with us this week and Connor barely left his side. He absolutely loved having him here. They played soccer and football. We are hoping to sign Connor up for soccer in the fall because that is ALL he wants to do these days….he just LOVES it!Happy Friday!!!

Weekend Wrap Up

We didn’t do a lot this weekend. I worked at the Stock Show again this Saturday while the boys stayed home this time. Did what seemed like a few mountains of laundry. Celebrated my sister in laws 30th birthday.

I FINALLY got on the Downton Abbey bandwagon and we started the first season. It took a few episodes, but I’m really loving it so far! I can’t imagine living in that day and age. It was easier in a lot of ways, but so much harder in others. I really like Mr. Bates & Anna…hope they end up together.

I walked into our bedroom last night and found Connor in our bed covered in stuffed animals. It was so funny! I had to get the camera and snap a few pics. He’s such a funny little guy 🙂

I also made another cute little Valentine’s Day printable. I thought this would be adorbs with a Target gift card attached……

Five on Friday

This week has flown by! I’ll start by recapping last weekend. We went to the Fort Worth Stock Show to hang out with our favorite buffalo for a couple of hours 🙂 If you are coming to the Stock Show come by and see us & get a picture with Mo the buffalo by cattle barn 4. We are there every Saturday from 11-1 pm. The weather has been perfect and I just love that we get to hang out with our good friends Bree & Nate. Always a good time!

Our friends Mike, Alina, & their kids came to the Stock Show too. I was so excited to visit with them. Connor may have a new girlfriend too….he was pretty smitten by Gracie 🙂

2. I’ve been really into everything Valentines day. I’m crazy for hearts and red or pink….I tried to do a Valentine’s Day mani…. a gold nail (Essie polish) & then painted a heart using a pointed q-tip.

3. Connor’s classroom Valentines came in from CardStore. I was so impressed! They turned out so good and I got all of these for $12 bucks!

4. I made some of these bad boys….they are so hard to resist. A little salty and sweet. So easy to make too….

5. Had a little impromptu photo shoot with our next door neighbors. We are so blessed to have such great neighbors. They crack me up! Check out my new photo site for upcoming session info….YIPPEE!!!!! HAPPY FRIDAY!

Things I Must Share with YOU!

First of all I don’t want you to forget to sign up for this fab event in the Fort Worth area. It’s going to be so much fun! Connor’s been having so much fun on his new bike. He’s getting really good at balancing. I’m glad we got this bike before one with training wheels because he learns to balance before peddling.

The suckers came in from Amazon for our Valentine treats. I was a little worried because some of the reviews said the suckers got broken. Mine came in and I didn’t have a single broken sucker!!!! Yay!

Last weekend when I was at the Kiki La’Rue sale I also got some necklaces from The Shine Project and I LOVE them! It’s for a great cause too. All the jewelry is made by kids and the money goes towards their college educations.

A few weeks ago we got to try some Chisholm Trail beef. It was so good! Terence made street tacos with it. The beef was super lean and great quality.
