Fit Throwing Biz

I stayed home with Connor yesterday because he hasn’t been feeling well. He was pretty good most of the day but we had an issue when I tried to wash THE BLANKET. I mean he had it out! I thought I was going to start crying….of course every time I offered up another blanket he would just get more furious. I told him I was going to take his picture and he stopped right after…..I guess he knew he better stop or I may show these to future girlfriends 😉 Ha ha!

I’m ready to go back to work today….aka….”vacation”.

Just KIDDING! I wouldn’t trade any day with him….fit throwing and all! I love you so much boo boo and hope you have a good day today with your nice clean blanket.

We also got to visit with my lovely friend Amber. I LOVE HER. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. I’m so glad God brought her into my life….and she found me through this here blog! She’s doing so good raising her two boys since Brett died earlier this year. She’s much stronger than I would be….I just admire her in so many ways.

I told her I was going to talk with my British accent until the Olympics were over. I tried it for awhile but I don’t think she was too fond of it! LOL!

Us embarrass anyone…..NEVER!

We headed over to Garden Ridge to take in all the Christmas wonderland and Halloween horrors.

Ya know because it’s August and all….only 110 degrees outside!

Connor was not scared when we scooted down this isle…he just laughed!

Father’s Day 2012

We had a fab Father’s Day weekend!

We are so blessed to have Terence. He’s the best Dad and Hubby ever. God has truly blessed us with him and he takes such good care of us. I know I don’t tell him enough how thankful I am for him and how much I love him. But honey….I love you and you and Connor are my heart.

Aren’t Terence’s new glasses so GQ? I love them 🙂

We had a nice lunch over at T’s parent’s house with family and all the kids got to play together. It’s SOOOOOO hot in Texas right now. Although, it is a lot cooler than last summer…..so far!

We are so thankful for our Dads, Grandpas, Uncles, and brothers…all the father figures in our lives.

And here is my Daddy holding my sister and I. Bless his heart. TWO BABIES. I cannot imagine. I am constantly telling my Mom & Dad I don’t know how they did it…but thank you thank you!!!!

My precious Daddy. He is such a teddy bear. He has the kindest heart of anyone you’ll meet. He’s giving, and always puts others before himself. He loves my Mom with all his heart after all these years I can still see how much he loves her and tries to please her. My Daddy is always sending me little cards in the mail to remind me how much he loves me and how proud he is of me. He’s my cheerleader and is not just my Dad, but my friend and I feel like I can talk to him about anything. My Dad always holds a special place in my heart. I LOVE YOU SWEET DADDY!

I loved the fun Ziploc baggy. Not sure what I’ll use that for? Also-not sure what I’ll used the blender cleanser for since I’ve already used my Blender and I’m not paying $25 for a new one. It does say you can use it to clean regular makeup brushes though???

I tried the self tanning towel. Overall I got great coverage, still some streaks but it was easy to apply.

The Staniac sort of reminds me of Benefit Benetint….and I actually like that one better.
Overall this month’s box was GOOD! I love getting my little surprise in the mail every month!

Mayfest Fun!

Here in Fort Worth they have a weekend festival the first weekend of May called “Mayfest”.

It sort of reminds me of Toad Suck Daze back home in Conway 🙂

We had a great family day out yesterday…of course I was sweating like a PIG! It’s already so hot here in Texas….I need to work out and get a hot bod so I can wear some shorts and not be ashamed of my white legs 😛 Of course there were lots of people there wearing crap they shouldn’t have been wearing so that made me feel better, but seriously. This may be a sundress summer because I don’t like shorts????

I am going on a juice fast starting today so we’ll see how it goes. I say a fast…but really I think I’m going to have a juice for dinner every night and eat a light lunch mid day. I’m just not happy with my muffin rolls and I want to feel better about myself. Especially now that summer is here.

Excuse my hot and tired looking self… we had worked the early morning Sunday school class at 8:30. We had EIGHT two year olds! God bless all you Mom’s with multiples…I just don’t know if I could do it! I was beat! Then we stopped for a Starbucks and Connor dumped it all over the back seat of my car and onto the carpet….sigh…just another day! Pick and choose your battles. He’s becoming and very opinionated and defiant two year old some days…but other times he just melts my heart and is so loving.

Thank goodness for child leashes…especially in places like this!

We had a great weekend. I spent most of my free time devouring the ever popular “50 Shades of Grey” series everyone is talking about….and let me just say it did not disappoint! But now I am left hanging and I must read the 2nd one asap! This book as pulled me in hook, line, and sinker.

I love a good romance …..and this is WAY more than a romance let me say…blushing red romance. I wish Terence would read it. I think most women wish their men would read it. My husband is not a reader, but dang…I wish he would, it might inspire some spice in our 11 year marriage….you know what I’m saying??? ha ha!!! I really loved KLaw’s review. She’s the funniest writer and as blunt as I’ll get out…but she doesn’t hold back and that is why I love her blog 🙂

Okay enough about that…have you read the book? What do you think about it?

Connor’s 2nd Birthday Party

We celebrated Connor’s 2nd birthday on Saturday. I can’t believe my baby boy is already TWO! Time just flies by when you’re having fun! My Mom, Dad, sister, and nephew Jarrett drove in from Arkansas for the party. I’m so excited to have them here, it wouldn’t be the same without my family. Bonnie flew back home today and Mom, Dad, and Jarrett are gonna hang out with us a couple more days.

This year we rented out an area at our church and it worked out great! It was so much better than having it at my house and having to clean up the mess afterwards.

I didn’t really do as much as I did for his first birthday. We just did cupcakes and ice cream. Works just fine for me and less stress! (I highly suggest this method)

It was St. Patrick’s day so it was the perfect day for a “Starbucks” and green party 🙂

But it is green??? ha ha!!!

One day I will try to do that for a costume if I can ever figure out how to make one…..but this is my costume this year.

Our Wedding Shower 2001

I’ve been re-capping a lot of our wedding story lately because Terence and I just celebrated 10 years last week. I found some photos of our couples shower and saw that Kelly was having a link up today so I thought I would share 🙂

Our shower was at my home church in Conway, AR. This was also the church we were married in. We got lots of wonderful things for our home from our sweet church family.

We moved straight into base housing on Little Rock Air Force base…base housing isn’t always the best, so it was fun to register and find things to make our house a home.

My advice to anyone getting married is REGISTER FOR IT ALL!!! This is probably the only time in your life you’ll get to ask for stuff like this!

Today is our 10 year anniversary

I couldn’t imagine spending this life with anyone other than Terence. He is my best friend, the best hubby, Daddy, love & companion throughout life. I don’t know what I would do without you babe. For realz. You cannot ever leave me….I love you & couldn’t make it without you! I’m so proud of you and the man you are…God has truly blessed me with you for my husband. The Wedding Day

Dad sang “Butterfly Kisses” before he walked me down the isle. My Dad has the most loving heart and it meant the world to me. The tissues were flying! It seemed like an eternity standing there while he sang, but it’s one of the best memories I have of that day.
