Jumping Beans

D7K_2484

On Saturday my sister-in-law Rebecca and I took the kids to Flight Deck Trampoline Park.  It was amazing!  This is genius…I mean I wish they had these around when I was a kid right?  They had a special corner for kids 4 and under so they wouldn’t get trampled on by teenagers.  That was nice too.  They even had a yogurt bar up in there…for realz.  I think we may frequent this place more often and it is so much fun to see the pure JOY on these kiddos faces while having a blast!

Warning: Blurry pictures ahead….it’s hard to catch jumping 3 year olds…………

4th of July 2013

D7K_2354

Hope y’all had a great 4th of July!  It was nice to have a day off to spend with family.  I wish it would have fallen on a Friday so I didn’t have to go back to work the day after….but still very thankful for a day off!  We’ve been super busy the last few weekends with company in town.  My parents came for a visit last weekend.  It couldn’t have come at a better time & lifted my spirits to see them.  I miss my Mom & Dad soooooo much!

Connor is at such a fun age right now and he’s getting into holidays and understanding them a bit more.  He’s my lil’ firecracker 🙂

Terence didn’t want his picture taken.  I practically have to chase him down.  He’s not as keen on it as I am….ha ha!  I made Connor Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast.  This is something my Nannie made Bonnie and I growing up.  We loved it and I knew he would too.  He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, he kept calling them “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” pancakes.  We picked up some Starbucks , ate lunch, and did some running around.

I think he ate two of them.  He’s getting so big!D7K_2317

Later that night we drove up the hill in our neighborhood and saw fireworks from two different cities.  It was very nice weather and a good way to end the night!

Of course the popping noises didn’t end until late into the evening….but you learn to tune those out.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. xoxo

Nana & Poppy

1005260_10152961205200125_1460200243_nNana & Poppy are here visiting this weekend.  It couldn’t have come at a better time either!  We are so blessed to have them 🙂

Connor is loving every minute and keeps asking them not to leave (breaks my heart)

Mom and I went shopping this morning, something we don’t get to do often.  Love shopping with my Mama!  We went to lunch and then Mom and Dad let Terence and I have date night.  We haven’t been on a night out by ourselves in at LEAST 4-5 months!  Thanks Mom and Dad.  We saw World War Z with Brad Pitt and it was really good.  Zombies freak me out though.  Still a great movie, I would recommend it.

They are spoiling him rotten.

We got Connor a cookie with sprinkles at the mall today & my Mom texted me tonight and said she gave the cookie to Connor and he said “It’s so beautiful”

Ha ha!  So sweet.

Yes, Bon and I thought we were pretty funny in those days….fam22Here is our nursery when WE were babies 🙂

We were stationed in Germany at the time, and back then you didn’t know if you were having a boy or girl.  So my Mom planned a gender neutral room.  Sesame Street themed.  It didn’t take long to fill up the room with girly dresses!

Weekend Stuff

Love this boy more than he’ll ever know.  No matter what, at the end of the day he and his Daddy are all that matters.

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declared the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (Jeremiah 29:11).

The Bible says that God’s will is “good, pleasing and perfect” (Romans 12:2).

D7K_2060Connor always  has to have little cars in his hands.  He is obsessed with “baby cars”.D7K_1886

Loving this nail color from my Birchbox.

It’s from the Color Club Wanderlust collection.D7K_1894 D7K_1890

I am loving the 80’s on 8 station.  We have XM radio for 3 months free with the new car and I’m gonna miss jamming to my 80’s hits!D7K_1885

This is how we roll.  I love me some Starbucks!
I’m still waiting for a Seattle’s Best to open closer to me 🙂

D7K_1882Still happy with the blog cards I ordered from Overnight Prints.

Even though they took like a month to ship….they are my fave so far.

Connor and I have had a bout of upset tummies.  Dad’s at the grocery store right now getting food for the week….we love him <3

Horsing Around

The past week Connor’s school brought horses for the kids to ride.  Now all he wants is a horse of course!  Ha ha!

They had the best time and we just love his school.

Here are a few pictures of Connor enjoying the horse ride 🙂D7K_2019

I’ve had a really hard week at work and I just ask that y’all would pray for me.  I know God has a plan for why everything happens & when one door closes another opens.

I’ve always been a positive person and I’m not going to let anyone rain on my parade or my attitude about life.

Everyday is a blessing and enjoy every second, cherish those you love, and don’t take anything for granted.
