Did Someone Say Sprinkles?

We had a pretty low key weekend.  We just relaxed and chilled around the house.  I have so many things I feel like I need to get done and I just can’t keep up with everything! Ugh!  Right now I have been tagging a bunch of items for the JBF sale next week.  I’ve never participated before and I am excited to get rid of some stuff.
I had the pleasure of meeting up with Leah.  She’s one of the gals I met through blogging and twitter & saw in Dallas a few months ago.  She’s just as precious as can be and so is her hubby!  I’m so excited for them, they are expecting baby #2 🙂 So glad Trey is doing better and we’ll continue to pray for healing!

Congrats ya’ll and it was so good to see you & come back SOOOOOOOOOON!!!

On the weekends Terence will go and get Connor and he will lay in bed with us while we try to sleep in a little bit…..it’s the sweetest thing ever.

I also got some Sprinkles on the way home in Dallas  🙂
If you follow them on Twitter they give away free cupcakes every day.
Yesterday it was chocolate vanilla hazelnut…..YUMMMMMM…….

And we took Connor to the park to play.  This is a part of our weekend nightly routine now.
He is so big and can do most things on the playground by himself now!
My baby is growing up so fast…..cherishing every second!
Hope you all had a great weekend as well!
xoxo Becky

Rollerskating Momma

We took Connor to the park tonight and I tried out my brand new pair of Heelys.  They are tennis shoes with wheels in the heels and you can roller skate in them!  They were a lot of fun 🙂

Hopefully I don’t look like a super dork! LOL!
These shoes are not just fun, they are a great way to exercise too!
Momma’s everywhere will be rollerskating their babies down the street!

If you decide you just want to wear the shoe it’s SO easy to make the switch.  Just pull the cap off the bottom, remove the wheel, and replace.  There are so many different styles on Heelys website HERE.

Kids will love them….but so will their Momma 🙂
You can find lots more info on Heelys HERE
and on Facebook HERE
Disclosure: Thank you Business to Blogger for my new Heelys!

In Remembrance Linkup

Everyone has their own story to tell about September 11, 2001.  I am sure everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing….it is a day we all will never forget.  I can’t believe it has been 10 years.  The time has gone so quickly, but for some I’m sure it’s gone by slowly and sadly.

I can’t imagine.

I’ve talked about our 9-11 experience on this blog before.  I know that day changed our lives forever, I think it changed everyone’s life in some way or another.
We are so blessed to live in this country.  Even though our country has had a rough time lately, we should still be grateful for our freedom, those who fight for it, and those who’ve lost their lives.  That day forever changed the course of history.  Nothing will be the same, but God has a plan and in that I trust.
Thank you Lord for this life I live, for the ones I love, and for the ones I’ve lost.  This world is not the end, it’s only the beginning of eternity………
Thought I would share some pictures we took in March while visiting Summer & Adam in NYC.  They are very touching and may help you reflect on the memory of 9-11….

Also wanted you to see Iraq.  This is where our soldiers are fighting…pray for them.

Have a Bowl?

One of my favorite places for kitchenware is Zak! Designs.  I especially love their confetti line.  Last week I broke my beloved Zak! bowl so I ordered this one:
I love that it’s EXTRA large.
I use it when I bake large batches of something or to put Halloween candy in 🙂

I know everyone has heard of Scentsy by now, but I was a little late to jump on that wagon.  I am loving it!  This little pot o’ gold makes my whole house smell like fall.

I’ve had the itch to do some fall baking.  I pulled out a can of pumpkin last night, and unfortunately it expired in July.  I really need to get my spices all organized because it’s a complete disaster of bottles and jars.  It’s driving me nutso!  HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE YOUR SPICE CABINET???

I found this cute idea on Pinterest :

These are from Pottery Barn.  Only I would have to sell plasma to afford them….ugh…
Pottery Barn, why must you look so cool, but be so dang expensive?

Speaking of organization…..remember when I gave away this jewelry organizer?  They also sent me this one too!  It’s for necklaces and bracelets and it’s awesome!  Both of these organizers hang perfectly in my closet and store all my jewelry without tangles or a mess!

I’m also in the middle of a purge in Connor’s room.  I’m getting a bunch of things ready for the JBF Sale in a few weeks.  It’s amazing how many things a child only uses in the first year of life….then after that it becomes junk! Hee…hee….

Hope ya’ll are having a good day!
