I changed my calendar to May today. I love my cat calendar! Although I don’t have a cat anymore I still love the cute little comics that Gary Patterson puts out every year. For the past three years I have bought a Gary Patterson cat calendar and it always puts a smile on my face to see what the next month will look like. www.garypatterson.com

Easter on the farm
Big Bunny
He weighs in at 22 pounds and measures a little over 3 feet. He is a breed of rabbit called German Giant (how appropriate!). From the NY Post article…We don’t feed him an unusual diet, said Wagner. He goes through more than his brothers and sisters, but he eats the same food mix. His favorite food is actually lettuce…he can never get enough of it.
LOOK AT THOSE FEET!
New car…finally!
So I got up this past Saturday morning (EARLY) to take Terence to the airport so he could fly to Houston and pick up a car. One with air conditioning! Yeah! He drove from Houston to Fort Worth and spent the night with his folks. He had a good visit. I spent Saturday hanging out with my mom and dad. I got three new pairs of shoes! Yeah again! They were having a really good clearance sale! My mom is addicted to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. They do make really good smoothies. So after we went shopping she treated me and Dwan to one. Thanks Mom! I had a good weekend, even though Terence was out of town and I always miss him no matter how long he’s gone for! I know! I get very attached to people. Glad he’s home safe and sound and even more glad to have the nice new car with air!

Dr. Jack Logan’s body was recovered late Wednesday and was positively identified by his son, Allen. The search for Bert Alexander’s body began again at 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning.Dr. Logan and Bert Alexander went with a group from Fellowship Bible Church in Conway to Nicaragua last week. They were teaching pastors and students there how to lead churches. Logan and Alexander stayed an extra day to fish with the local pastor’s family. Their boat capsized on a huge lake and they clung to the boat for several hours. The pastor and his wife slipped off and drowned. (See story link for more on the two men.)Logan and Alexander joined the pastor’s 22-year-old son and 14-year-old nephew to try to use a cooler to swim to shore. The two young men made it and told
rescuers that when Logan and Alexander realized the cooler couldn’t keep them all afloat, they spoke final words of encouragement and pushed off. That was the last time they were seen. The young men say they are grateful Logan and Alexander sacrificed their lives to save them.
