Things I love about FALL!!!
TGIF!
TGIF!!! Yeah Friday is here! Seems like I live for the big ole Fridays. What to do what to do…with my precious weekend. Terence and I have gotten into “House”, another dvd television show since we don’t have regular tv we rent the shows by the season. But no commercials! That is what we do to relax. I am so ready for fall to be here. I do not like hot weather at all! I like to wear warm clothes…and I like my skin covered! I love scarves, mittens, coats, sweaters, boots, everything that goes along with fall. The smell of the leaves, hot cocoa, pumpkins, and holidays…ahhh!!! My favorite time of year. It’s making me chilly just thinking about it. I know once school starts it’s not much longer before the cooler weather hits. The bank I work at in the evenings is dwindling down…by that I mean everyone is quitting and that only leaves a few of us left! They aren’t going to hire anyone else to help either, which puts us all out. But I hope and pray that they stay open for awhile, I really need to keep this job atleast for another year until Terence finishes school. We are trying to decide what to do once Terence finishes school. Whether or not to stay here in Arkansas or move to Texas and start over there. Pray for us that we will make the right decision when the time comes. Regardless of what we do we need to be prepared for change. God is good! And we have always been so blessed and we’ve never been without, for that I am thankful!!! For that I am happy!!!
Nannie & Papa came to visit
Well, Terence finished up the summer school term last week. Did really well. So proud 🙂
So he’ll be out for two weeks before Fall term starts…this will hopefully be the last year. We had a good weekend. Just went running around town, bought some groceries. Wal-Mart’s produce section has been really bad lately so we decided to go to Kroger…it was much better. It’s hard to find a good tomato! There is nothing like my Nannie’s tomatoes on the farm though….they are the best! Terence got a new video game and has been absorbed in the television (note to all wives…if you ever want to spend time with your hubbys don’t get a video game console!)
I have a new favorite TV show, we rented “Prison Break” on dvd. It is awesome!
Here is the scenerio for the show:
Michael Scofield is a desperate man in a desperate situation. His brother, Lincoln Burrows, is on death row and scheduled to die in a few months for a murder Michael is convinced Lincoln did not commit. With no other options and time winding down, Michael holds up a bank to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary. Once he’s inside, we learn that Michael — a structural engineer with the blueprints for the prison — has hatched an elaborate plan to break Lincoln out and prove his innocence. Senior correctional officer Bellick offers some prison wisdom as Michael arrives. Then, with the help of his cellmate Sucre, Michael begins to align himself with a disparate group of prisoners — including former mob boss John Abruzzi, and Charles Westmoreland, a man some believe to be the infamous skyjacker D.B. Cooper. On the outside Michael has only one ally, his defense attorney and longtime friend, Veronica Donovan — who is Lincoln’s former girlfriend. Meanwhile, Lincoln’s 15-year-old son, LJ, is now adrift without his Uncle Michael’s positive influence.
