This weekend was a great weekend and very BUSY! I decided to drive home on Friday after I got off work at 5:00 to go see one of my really good friends (Beth) from highschool get married. I originally wasn’t going to go, but I decided I couldn’t miss it! After a couple hours in Dallas rush hour traffic and several of these…

and about 4 more hours I made it! I got there so late!
I spent Friday night with our good friends Kristin and Nate and their three kiddos. Saturday morning, Abby, the two year old woke me up at 6:00 am with all five of her care-bears and laid in bed with me for awhile. It was so cute! I love them!
We just relaxed Saturday afternoon before getting ready for the wedding that night. It was such a pretty wedding and I’m so happy for Beth that she found a wonderful guy to spend the rest of her life with!



Then…Saturday night I went to my Mom and Dad’s house around 10:30. My Mom knew I was coming home, but we didn’t tell my Dad because I wanted to surprise him for Father’s day! He answered the door when I got there and it was so funny because he was in complete shock! ha..ha…he was grinning ear to ear and said he was so happy I was there 🙂
Sunday he sang in a men’s choir ensemble at church and they did so good! Then we ate lunch and I headed back on the road again! Now I’m here and exhausted ya’ll! My pillow is calling my name again…..

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY 2008!!!!

I finished the “Shopaholic” series a few weeks ago and I have to tell you I loved them so very much! I recommend them to everyone on the planet to read and I can’t wait until the movie comes out Valentines Day 2009. (Don’t worry Bonnie they are on their way to you!) I got sister into reading them too and now she’s just as obsessed as I was! I also read the few other books Sophie Kinsella wrote and they are equally FAB and witty!
In honor of shopaholics everywhere I thought I would post about my recent purchases that I love!

First is Marc Jacobs Daisy. I got the solid perfume that comes in this cute little ring (which I would never actually wear as a ring) but it’s cute to pop in your purse or something. I became obsessed with this scent last year and I will never tire of it.

Next is Clinique eyeshadow in “goldstrike”. I love this for summer because it is shimmery and bronze!

I love this blender bottle. I just do.

Terence got some t-shirts from a store called Jakes Loft a few weekends ago. They all say something about how life is good on them. These shirts feel like butter they are so soft and now I want one so bad!!! I keep rubbing on him because he’s so soft he probably thinks I’m a weirdo!

Whew! Today was crazy! The air conditioner at work wasn’t working and the electricity went out four times due to the high winds we are having today. I just walked in the door and now I’m soaking up the cool air like there is no tomorrow!

I have my nights totally free and to myself now that Terence is in school from 6:30-9:45 every night. I don’t quite know what to do with myself. I’ve dusted, vacuumed, cleaned out my closet, done laundry, joined the gym…etc…. It’s nice to do whatever you want sometimes, but I get bored too. I guess that gives me lots of time to blog huh?

On another note, the metformin is really helping A LOT! I haven’t had any heavy bleeding or cramping!!! Praise the Lord!!! I think things are starting to get adjusted and hopefully I’ll start having a normal cycle. We shall see 🙂 I guess that is all for now. I am going to go to the gym in about an hour, then who knows after that!

Yesterday a mama duck and her six ducklings marched right in front of the door at work yesterday. Is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? They were so tiny!
