Terence’s Granddad had an estate sale last week and today they let the kids come over and pick out among the things that were left. I got these cute dishes! Aren’t they cute? I’m not sure what I’ll use them for yet, but I’m sure I’ll think of something.

Papa turned 74 last week. Here he is with his birthday cake at the hospital. He had a heart attack a few weeks ago, so he’s unable to smile. The doctors say he’s got a few more months (hopefully more). It’s just times like this that I REALLY REALLY want to be home with my family right now. Aunt Karli got him that hat that says “Judge Gammill” on it. Papa was a county judge for years and years. I love you Papa more than anything!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!!

Went to the Cheesecake Factory today with my sister-in-law Kim. She had oreo cheesecake and I tried their 30th anniversary special cheesecake for something different and didn’t have my usual Godiva. It was pretty good, it’s layers of chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, and regular cheesecake.

An ode to Bonnie’s blog…..

Back when I was younger and skinnier, “some” people told me I sort of looked like Faith Hill. Those were the good ole days though…tan, skinny, 40 pounds lighter 🙁 This is depressing!
Has anyone said you resembled someone famous?

I need some new foundation. I usually use liquid foundation, but I kind of want to try something different. I have a mish mash full of makeup, but if I find something I really love I’ll stick with it. I have been surfing all over on Sephora, but I just can’t make up my mind! Light, medium, or heavy coverage??? What do I want? What make-up brands are your favorites and why? I need help!

This weekend we really didn’t do much because Terence had a workshop all weekend for school so I was home by myself. They’ve already started working really hard and he has to do a presentation next week. Then they’ll start school on the 25th. This is going to be a loooong year for him with lots of long hours of studying, but I know he’ll do well and all the hard work will pay off. He made A’s in all three of his classes this summer. There may be some trips involved this next year to Atlanta and Washington D.C. for job recruitment type things. I’m not sure exactly what that entails yet. And possibly a trip abroad, he wanted to go to Chile, but now a new trip came up and it might be Guatemala. Needless to say it’s going to be a crazy year I can already tell, so I’ve decided to put our baby plans on hold for awhile. It’s too much right now for me to handle, living here, and Terence in school. The medicine makes me very sick and when I’m able to eventually I’ll start up again, but right now I just don’t think the timing is right. We will just leave all of that in God’s hands for right now 🙂
