Have I mentioned how much I love birthdays??? My sweet friend Summer sent me a package today and I love everything she sent! She knows me well! Owl – note cards, stickers, gift tags, and stamp / a pendant that says “Keep calm and carry on” (I need to repeat that to myself daily because I have bad anxiety over everything!) / and some beautiful silver hoop earrings. Here I am wearing the earrings…I look like poop with no makeup on and I’m ready for bed, but I made Terence take a picture because I just love them 🙂 I’ll be wearing them tomorrow for shizzle! Thank you Summer for making this a very special birthday, I feel so blessed to have you as a friend….you are so precious to me.

I love going home. Mom and Dad spoil me rotten then send me back! LOL! The weekend included going out to eat at PF Chang’s, seeing Terminator Salvation (I thought it was very good…I’m in love with the dude who plays Marcus now!), I got to see my Nannie for a couple hours and had lunch at Chili’s, breakfast at Cracker Barrel, helping Mom pick out flowers for her flower bed, and just sitting back relaxing and enjoying my time off with them. The drive isn’t too bad, now that we’ve moved to the northern part of Dallas it takes about an hour off of my usual drive home. Until next time – Love you Mom and Dad – Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Mom and Dad bought me a TopsyTurvy. You hang in from your porch and it grows tomatoes out the bottom of the container. I hope it works! I’ll do updates on the TT and let ya’ll know if it grows anything, typically I don’t have a green thumb 😛 Anyone who knows me KNOWS how much I love home grown tomatoes!

the highschool days….. At Sara’s wedding

I’m headed to Arkansas this weekend for a spur of the moment trip! My best friend from Alaska is in town, obviously she doesn’t make it home much and I want to see her. I also want to see my Mom, Dad, and Nannie because I am homesick. I’m driving by myself so I plan on getting up early tomorrow morning and head home. Terence is helping his Dad build a fence this weekend, so it’s not like I have anything else to do!

On the job front – I got a call today that they are also interviewing another person who was interested in the job in Dallas….which is fine….I know that God will put me where He wants me to be 🙂 In the mean time I am thankful I have a job I love even if I do have to drive a long way each day!

If it happens it happens, if it doesn’t then it doesn’t…either way I’m fine with it. The only reason I am moving is because of the drive, otherwise I would just pick everyone up and move them all with me because I love them so much! 😛

She got me a t-shirt and hat from the Titanic exhibit in Vegas, some owl key covers, owl & “B” post-it’s, an owl keychain, Yankee car smellies ( I love those!) & some cute owl note cards. She knows me well eh? Thank you so much sidder…I love you more than anything!!!
I also got a music b-day card from my Daddy with the song “Super Freak” in it….hmmmm…that’s appropriate I guess!

I think my interview went well today. Hopefully I will find something out soon! It was right next door to Sprinkles….so I brought Terence home some MOCHA cupcakes…Yum! I’m going to go watch “So You Think You Can Dance” now. It’s my favorite show of the summer! Everyone have a FAB Friday!
