Bake with Becky

I love to BAKE…
Actually I like to bake more than cook regular food. Why is it after EVERY meal I feel like I need chocolate to complete it? Is there anyone else out there who feels this way-or am I just a chocoholic crazy loon woman with soon to be diabetes because I crave sugar so much…or maybe it’s just the PCOS-whatever…I still crave it!
I baked these last night-Dark chocolate is one of my faves, and it has antioxidants right?
Yes-this is the consistency of my baking…we can’t all be like Summer now can we?

Okay-so now I have a proposition for you all. I want you to “get your bake on with me” and I am going to try to do something fantabulously wonderful “homemade” like with my baking goodness. The lovely Summer and I have been talking about putting together a

tonight I’ll post instructions to her site and everyone can enter a cake/cupcake/bunt/any creative bakery item that YOU made yourself! We are looking for creativity and unique ideas-and the point is to have FUN and experiment! At the end of the contest we will be judging all entries and the winner will get something SUPER FAB! Crazy weather

Last night it thunder stormed worse than I have seen in a LONG time! The tornado sirens went off a few times and we didn’t have electricity from about 7pm-3am. We didn’t sleep too well last night because we were so HOT it was hard to get good rest. Finally it came back on and we were able to get ready for work this morning. Our entertainment last night consisted of watching the tree in front of our door get knocked over from 70mph winds! I’ve been looking for a dress to wear to Kim (Terence’s other sister) and Kevin’s wedding in August. I believe her colors are blue and yellow. I like this one, but I would probably wear camisole or tank top underneath it. What do ya’ll think?

So glad tomorrow is Friday!

5. Traffic seems to have slowed down significantly since summer vacation started and school busses aren’t out and about! Amen!

Gaming

I bought the Sims 3 game the other day and I haven’t started playing it full on yet…but I know I loved playing the Sims & Sims 2. I played them for awhile and then it faded and I hadn’t played them for at least a year. I thought I would try this and see how I liked it. The graphics are supposed to be a lot better and it’s more 3-D than the older games. Bonnie bought it too and we were trying to figure out how we can play online together. I haven’t figured that part out yet either…maybe tonight I’ll mess around with it some! Have ya’ll played Sims before???

June Weekend

I’m addicted to Flavor ice icees right now….like bad..really BAD!!!
It’s getting REALLY hot outside. I need a kiddie pool or something to lay in..ha..ha..!!! I think we have decided to wait a bit on a house-at least a few more months and see what else turns up. We don’t want to rush into anything, and as much fun as it has been looking we want to make a smart decision. I finally have my cable back on after a couple days of it spazzing out! Caught up on some shows last night. Today we just went running around town and just chilled out. We went to the mall here and didn’t get anything, just had lunch at the food court and walked around. I love Williams Sonoma-actually I just love all kitchen appliances and gadgets period.

Uhm…I did get one thing at the Godiva store. If I want to splurge my diet then this is the best way to do it baby! Chocolixir…yummy!

These are from the other day-Twilight Sweethearts-I don’t really
like Sweethearts, but ya know…it’s for the sake of Twilight. The Blockbuster where we live now has to be the NICEST Blockbuster I’ve seen in my life! It has a full coffee bar, ice cream, slushy/drink, food/candy area, along with a lounge area inside.
