This is going to be a GREAT week!

Tomorrow I leave to go home to Arkansas!!! Yeah!!! Bonnie is already there, she flew in on Saturday. I was just informed that she and my Mom bought us matching outfits to wear to our shower next Saturday. Of course you know me…I will be taking LOTS of pictures during this trip and I’ll share with you all about the shower and I am hoping to get some cute pregger pictures of me and Bonnie together.

Things I am looking forward to:

  • Seeing New Moon finally with my Mom and sister! Everyone in bloggyland has already seen it and I am dying over here! Yes-we will miss you Edward…you are hardly in this one!
  • Spending time at the farm and my Nannie’s fried taters

  • Our double baby shower

  • Seeing family and friends I haven’t seen in awhile

  • Black Friday shopping with my family…I haven’t been able to do this in SEVERAL years because I always have to work.

  • And just RELAXING!

I’ll be back December 3rd so everyone have a great Thanksgiving week!

Meeting Laura & Gooner

Today I finally got to meet Laura and her precious baby girl “Gooner”! We met for lunch at McAlister’s and then went to the mall and walked around for awhile and just talked. You gals I had so much fun and it was so nice to hang out today and have some GIRL time! You are just precious and I look forward to getting together again really soon! It’s so nice to actually meet someone who lives close to me and can hang out….here are some photos from today….

Starting on baby Connor’s room

There is going to be a twin bed in Connor’s room along with his crib and changing table. I got this bedding today and I think it matches pretty well with the crib fabric. That is all that is in his room pretty much right now…but it’s coming along!

This cross stitch picture was in mine and Bonnie’s room as a child and we both love it. The matting in the frame was pink so I took it out at put it in a more boyish frame to hang in Connor’s room. This is the prayer we grew up saying because it was easy to remember and right above our bed, hopefully I can teach it to Connor to say every night too. My Mom has her name in the bottom right and the year 1982, I guess it was a year after we were born.

Yesterday when I got home I had a package on the doorstep and it was from Summer and Nicole! They got baby Connor a baby Bjorn…here I am testing it out with one of his teddies. I LOVE IT!!! No…I am not anti “wearing my baby” now I can have my arms free to do other things!
