We had a great Father’s Day this year. Connor let us sleep in until 8:00 am on Saturday 🙂 He’s been such a good boy lately and hardly fussing at all! *knock on wood* Terence is such a good Daddy and we are so lucky to have him!

We didn’t really do anything on Saturday except for run around and get some grocery shopping done. Sunday we went to church and then headed to Costco to get 4 new tires for T’s car. I hate car maintenance….it’s SO expensive! We had a nice dinner Sunday night with Terence’s family and then headed home to start the week again! It’s seems like the time is just flying by!

Connor has been very VOCAL lately squealing and making all sorts of noises. It just cracks me up. He does it even in his sleep!

I’ve been watching some summer shows too, including the Next Food Network Star (that Dzintra girl is koo koo!) and HGTV Design Star. I put “The Gates” on my DVR, but haven’t watched it yet! I REALLY want to go see Eclipse this weekend…if only I could find a babysitter for Connor 😛

I JUST WANT TO SAY I AM SOOOO BEHIND ON READING EVERYONE’S BLOGS LATELY AND IT’S NOT BECAUSE I DON’T LOVE YOU ANYMORE….DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL SCATTER BRAINED AFTER THEY HAVE A BABY?????? LIKE I SAID BEFORE I NEED TO WORK ON MY TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLZ SO I CAN FIT ALL THIS IN…BECAUSE I MISS IT AND I AM STILL VISITING YOUR LIVES EVEN THOUGH I MAY NOT COMMENT AS MUCH 🙁 XOXO BECKY)

It’s been over 100 degrees here in Texas for the past week! I am sooooo not a summer person! I prefer colder weather and hot cocoa over this any day. I guess it’s just because I don’t like to sweat or shave my legs…ha..ha…and I am white and unfortunately don’t tan 🙁

Terence & I were invited to go to Beastro at the Fort Worth Zoo on Friday night. Our friends Adam & Christa invited us to go. It was nice to have a night out with friends. There was endless food from local restaurants and you walk around and just EAT & EAT!!!! I was stuffed! I had to get this picture with a penguin for my Mom because she LOVES penguins 🙂

Today Terence and I have just been relaxing and I’ve been doing laundry and cleaning. We went to Barnes & Noble this afternoon to look at vacation books for our 10th wedding anniversary trip. It’s not until next year, but we wanted to start planning something in advance. Right now it’s a toss up between Ireland and anywhere else….we aren’t quite sure??? Where would you go or where have you been that you liked? My sister and I used to LOVE these Little Mr. & Miss books! I read Connor “Mr. Tickle”

This week Terence and I met up with Adam and Christa to support our friend Travis who is running a marathon to benefit crohn’s disease. He had a great turn out that night and I hope he raised some good moolah to support his cause! He’s very passionate about this because it has effected him personally and I know he’s an inspiration to others who are suffering with crohn’s disease. You go Travis! You can visit his website HERE

Connor is just getting cuter by the day! He LOVES his Daddy and when we get home in the afternoon his face just lights up when he sees him. Here is a little video of them playing 🙂

We have a busy weekend ahead and hopefully I’ll have some good pictures to share!

Today is ONLY Wednesday….oh weekend please come soon! Even though you will come with boiling hot temperatures and pits stains I don’t care….just come soon!

I just got some ZEBRA print shoes

I also LOVE these bibs! They are pull over bibs and some of them come with a washcloth attached that looks like ears on an animal. Connor has a tiger bib that is like that. I ordered these three yesterday and two of them have little teething things attached. The tuxedo one isn’t special, but it was so cute! You can find them at Mullins Square Kids.

I am also loving the Godiva dark chocolate gem truffles. They are so much cheaper than Godiva truffles in the boutiques and you get a whole bag! I prefer the dark chocolate of course!

I am really LOVING TWITTER right now too…..I just got into it and it’s very addictive. I haven’t had a lot of time to check blogs and comment like I used to since baby Connor’s arrival. I then realized a lot of my blogger friends have twitter accounts and it’s so much easier to keep up with them on twitter. I have my “daily Starbucks pic” posted on twitter every day 🙂 Ha..ha..

I am loving my precious baby nephew Jarrett who has been so sick this week. He’s doing better, but is still in the hospital and I ask that you continue to pray for this little baby lovey! Auntie Becky loves you sweet boy!
