I am SO glad it’s Friday and I have a 3 day weekend to spend with my boys! Yippeeeeeeee!!! We don’t really have any exciting plans, right now I just want to get rid of this head cold/sinus problem that’s been going on.
I am in love with Lolly Wolly Doodle on Facebook. They are the cutest shirts ever! Here is Connor in a Christmas shirt we got (I think it was around $10 bucks?) So cute!

  My sweet sister sent me this love knot ring. She has one too and she said we can both wear them & think of each other 🙂 She also sent Connor a shirt and some “Pirate beads” Thank you Aunt Bonnie!  I’m also loving these ruffle sleeve tops from LuLuBug Boutique. It’s also another Facebook boutique. Such cute stuff for little girls and Moms too!  One of my other favorite bloggers Kelly is having a “Show us your Life” cleaning tips! I cannot tell you enough how much I love Barkeepers Friend! It works amazing on your pots and pans, or any kind of metal or hard surface in the home. It’s very cheap, but works GREAT!

HAPPY WEEKEND!!!

It’s been a great week!  We’ve had lots of rain and cooler temps here in Texas.  I’m actually not getting pit stains every time I walk out the door.  It’s amazing.  It gets so hot here during the summer and the city usually enforces water restrictions in the summer, so I’m glad we got rain and can water our grass.

I also got this lovely Toyota #Highlander delivered right to my front door with a full tank of gas courtesy of Dallas Toyota.  I love this ride so much I may not give it back!  It’s loaded with all the bells and whistles.  It’s fancy schmancy….maybe one day when I win the lotto I can buy one 🙂  Until then I’m going to enjoy every minute in my pimp wagon.

 I bought this Christmas smocked long all for Connor last year. I’m thinking it may not fit him by Christmas this year. It is really long in the legs and it’s SO cute! He’s just a super tall kiddo. It’s a size 4 NWT $25 shipped if you want it. Leave me your name and paypal email in the comments section.  At school this week they had a petting zoo for all the kiddos. Connor just loved it! He got to feed a turkey, play with bunnies, and feed a goat too! I saw these drawings on Zulily today. They are by and Etsy store called trafalgarssquare. How whimsical and cute are these! So adorbs. Yesterday was national relaxation day. Did y’all know that? We had a fun time at work pretending like we were in the tropics 🙂 And last, but not least. This picture is absolutely one of my FAVORITE fall photos. I found it a long time ago on the internet and I always set it as my screen saver because it just makes me think of cool weather, pumpkins, cider, boots, sweaters, scarves, and holiday coffee drinks being in the near future.

We had a great weekend!  My best friend Sara and her family came to visit from Arkansas.  They took their boys to Lego Land and then we met up with them on Saturday to spend some time together.  We visited the Grapevine Aquarium.  I’ll talk more about that in another post.  It was SO much fun!  Connor is really into the ocean and fish right now.

Then Terence and Connor went home for a nap while Sara and I conquered IKEA.  I love that store, I actually haven’t been in a year or so….but they have new things all the time.  I tried to warn Sara how big it is.  I think when we got in she was overwhelmed with the whole thing.  If you’ve never been to an IKEA then it’s a LOT to take in!  It’s huge and is full of everything you could think of for a home.  The kids area is my favorite.

After IKEA we headed to Stonebriar Mall.  There was this crazy restaurant in the middle of the mall where all the food comes out on conveyer belts.  It’s called Wasabi Sushi.  We passed it and I just had to take a picture because it reminded me of something out of the future.

We also visited a favorite store of mine called Love Sac.  I just ADORE these humongous bean bags.  They are so comfortable you can just fall into them and curl up for hours.Later that night Terence’s sister came over to babysit so we could have a double date.  We ate at The Cheesecake Factory.  We ate ourselves silly and reminisced about old times.  We had a great visit….then we had to wheel ourselves out to the parking lot we were so full!
