They Tell Me I Like Coffee???

How appropriate is this shirt?  I LOVE IT!  It’s from a store called Authentic Mom.  They have the cutest shirts and they are super soft and well made.  I’ll be talking more about them in the next couple months so be on the look out 😉

Connor got his first birthday card in the mail from Nannie Sue.  Since she can’t be with us I tried to take pictures of him opening and they were so cute.  I love the expressions he makes.  He is learning the value of money so I think he knows he can buy a BIG toy from Nannie.  Thank you Nannie Sue we love you so much and are praying for you!

I can’t believe my baby will be 3 years old on Monday….where has the time gone???

Speaking of Java….Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf has hit Texas by storm.  I’m waiting very patiently for them to set up shop here in Fort Worth.  Anytime I’m in Dallas/Frisco I stop and get me some.  It is soooooo good!

Yesterday when I picked up my camera at the store I found this adorable camera strap by MOD.  I am so in love with it!!!  It’s super comfy and stylish.  Of course I opened up my email this morning to find they are having a 25% off sale…figures.  I had to leave my “precious” aka camera at the shop for four days.  So I bought her a birthday pressie 🙂

Carrie Underwood’s Eye Makeup: Get the Look

I always think Carrie Underwood’s eye makeup looks gorgeous.  I was Googling around trying to see how she achieved this look.  So I found a few tips, pointers and products.  I may try this and do a before and after….I know she uses false eyelashes.  I can’t stand them!  I guess it’s just something you get used to!  I always feel like every time  I blink they are going to fly off my eye lid.

Best Camera Bag Ever!

I am absolutely in love with my new camera bag by Kelly Moore.  It’s bright and stylish…and also holds my camera.  I just adore this design, it’s everything I wanted in a camera bag/purse.

I could easily carry two lenses in here along with my camera.  I am using that to take these photos though 🙂

I really like the front pouch.  It holds whatever cards you use, plus extra SD cards:

Ugly Christmas Sweater Day

We had our 2nd annual ugly Christmas sweater day at work Friday.  Luckily, Kindra’s future mother-in-law was a 3rd grade teacher so she brought the mother load of ugly Christmas sweaters for us all to choose from!

I also got this awesome t-shirt from Donkey Tees.  It has one of my favorite Christmas movie quotes on it….ha ha!  I love Home Alone, A Christmas Story, and Christmas Vacation.  Those are all musts!  Donkey Tees has some of the funniest shirts!

The Java Mama’s Favorite Things {3}

 

You all know I am obsessed with taking photos.  Well, of course I love all my pictures…but I ran into a problem awhile back.  I was running out of storage! 

I got the Picture Keeper and now all my pictures are safely and neatly stored on this easy to use flash drive.

I don’t have to worry about losing all my precious memories.  If I ever need a copy of a particular photo all I have to do is plug the Picture Keeper in for easy access to all my pictures.  I think this is a great device that so many of you will love.  I know lots of you like to take photos as well!
