I grew up watching VeggieTales when I was a kid and it’s so much fun to share the videos with my son now. VeggieTales teaches Connor about honesty, kindness, forgiveness, and is Christ centered. If there is one thing I want Connor to learn in life it’s how important God is in all we do.

Bob is the smart and witty tomato that has good advice to share. Larry always has a silly song to sing along to. Now you can watch your favorite VeggieTales movies while cuddling with your favorite character.

Favorite Baby Clothing Sites

I miss Connor being a baby and gosh it’s so fun to buy cute baby clothing . How come they have so many cute custom stores & boutiques for girls and not boys? I know if I ever did have a little girl I would go straight up Honey Boo Boo cray cray up in here! Minus the spray tan & false eyelashes of course.

This picture was taken on Connor’s first Easter. Oh my! Look at that dapper lil’ dude. The dress shirt, khakis, and sweater vest- all from Old Navy. I think he was around a month old. Be still my heart.

I also adore outfits that come in one piece. A jumper or “bubble” as some southerners call it is great when you child is still wearing diapers. They are easy to take on and off. I think this outfit was from Zutano, another company I just adore!

Of course my husband’s favorite ensemble for boys baby clothing is a polo or dress shirt with khakis. I think he just likes dressing him like his Daddy. He still does that to this day. Connor wears mostly khakis and polos these days when he’s not insisting on Batman or Superman. Oh the peer pressure of pre-schoolers!

My days of choosing clothes is pretty much over, but it sure was fun choosing them while it lasted! Ha ha!

So, out of pure curiosity where are some of your favorite places to buy baby clothing? Specifically boy clothes? Or girl clothes…whichever one you feel like sharing. I’m always looking for fun places to shop and go visit.

Get down with the sickness….literally….

I meant to post our lil Easter recap earlier, then were stricken with the stomach bug. Needless to say the last couple of days have NOT been pretty.

I think we are all on the downhill of this stomach bug…thank the LORD!

We had a great Easter with the Branch family & we even got to visit with Terence’s cousin and family from England for a bit. We have a lot of kids on Terence’s side, so it’s always fun to watch them egg hunt and play.

We had a great church service in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice for us. Even though we all had sickies we still have SO much to be thankful for every day!

No…I’ve Not Fallen Off The Face of the Planet.

Oh my gosh y’all! Things have been super busy lately. I’ve neglected my bloggy blog for a bit too long. I’ve been busy with my new job, photo shoots, and doing laundry. Ya know…living the life.

We are about to put our house on the market and packing is craziness! We watched Tiny Houses on Netflix and going through all our crap makes me want to “tiny” my life. I don’t think I could actually live in a tiny house, but the idea is appealing. I know I want to get rid of all that junk we don’t use anymore. We went through closets last weekend and gave a ton to good will. I felt free!

The idea of moving is scary, but we are hoping to get moved before Connor starts the big Kindergarten this year.

Terence and I have been juicing again for dinner. I’ve been avoiding Easter candy like the plague. Stupid Cadbury mini eggs!!! They are crack.

I got to spend time with my good friend Sarah and her precious lil diva Ellie. I just adore this high/low dress. She’s the cutest little thing….like….EVER.

Sarah is also the owner of the cutest shop Wake Me Up Designs. She made me my very own sparkly “Java Mama” t-shirt. Watch out J-Lo….I be blinging.

Here’s a little throwback for you. Ter-Bear and I dating and sharing our first Easter together. Gah…I was skinny. Must have been before Cadbury mini eggs came out. It was 15 years ago after all. I am blaming the Cadbury mini eggs for everything right now.

ColorVibeTM Dallas Race Day

Last Saturday we woke up early to attend the Dallas Color Vibe race. I honestly didn’t know what to expect because I’ve never been to one of these color races, but I have heard a lot about them.

Here we are dressed very COLORFUL before the race starts!

Seriously though…Connor is still talking about the race we went to where he got to run through all the colors. There were a lot of kids there too and it was very family friendly. If you are looking for something fun to do as a family I highly recommend a Color VibeTM race. We are looking forward to attending next time they come to town.

Someone get me a wet wipe. Y’all I’m NOT a race person, but this didn’t even feel like a race because it was so much fun! And if you are into races then more power to you.
