Spring Accessories Haul

Everyone who knows me knows that I love to ACCESSORIZE!  Today I’m excited to share with you some favorite accessories I’ve got in my wardrobe for spring.

I love accessories, because unlike clothing they always fit and can be worn year-around. Also, accessorizing for holidays is one of my FAVORITE things to do

First off….I am loving these heart huggie earrings for Valentine’s Day. (Click on the picture if you want a close up)

There is a matching heart infinity ring that goes with it too!

Also, these gold threader drop earrings might be my next purchase.  They are so chic and would look great with the huggie earrings I just got.

Some people ask “What is the difference between gold-plated and gold-filled jewelry?”

Not everyone has the money for fine diamonds and gold.  A great option is vermeil, or gold-plated jewelry.  It has a thin layer of gold on its exterior and is made of a less expensive metal (such as copper, bronze, or silver) at its core. Gold-filled jewelry, on the other hand, has a much higher gold content, making it pricier.  If you are looking for an expensive look without the price tag I’d recommend gold plated or vermeil- they wear well and the quality is great.

Accessorizing doesn’t mean just jewelry- it can be nails too.  This is my nail inspo for Valentine’s day!  Have y’all seen any fun nail trends you’re wanting to try this spring?

My favorite store for accessories and headbands is TEAMRLN.  They just dropped their Valentine’s Day line and it’s EVERYTHING!

(Don’t forget my discount code for Brianna Cannon is BECKY10 and gets you 10% off + Free Shipping)

These are all the earrings:

These are all the headbands:

(Nothing saves a bad hair day better than a headband lol!) I’ve been eyeing these ones and I think I’ll probably get them to wear this season.

Now that I have a daughter she loves to play with jewelry and accessories too.  Also, I love knowing that someday I can pass things down to her as well.  For Heidi I enjoy picking out bows and little she’s just started wearing necklaces.  I get most of Heidi’s bows from Eternally Autumn Bows HERE.

Okay- so now that I’ve spilled all of my spring favorites to you…tell me what are you LOVING this season!!!???

All That Glitters: Holiday Accessories

It’s the holiday season and it’s time to accessorize yourself ladies!  Accessories are great, and they are the one thing that always fits!

So today I wanted to share with y’all some of my favorite accessories for the holiday season and some other things I’m loving lately.

And I’m not talking about accessorizing with oven mits…even though I love to bake this time of year too! lol!
  • Gold hoop earrings.  Now, this doesn’t have to be your traditional hoops.  I am loving these gold hoops because they are trendy, light weight, and go with literally everything.  They are a dainty double hoop that you can dress up or down!

Here’s another angle.  I just adore these and wear them all the time.

  • If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook then you know how much I love Brianna Cannon earrings and headbands for the holidays too.  There are so many different glittery and sparkly styles to choose from and they are SO MUCH FUN!  I want the gingerbread houses they are amazing.  I got these plaid bows and a cute tartan headband for the holiday.  Nothing makes you put more together in a short amount of time than a glitzy headband.

Use my code: BECKY10 for 10% off and free shipping  SHOP HERE

  • Gold cuffs are really in this season too.  Currently loving this Gold cuff from Anthropologie.  This would be great to throw on for an office party or a dinner gathering.  Just adds a little arm candy to your outfit and I love that!
  • Camera straps are really in this season to add to all your bags.  Changing out the straps is the fun part!  These hobo straps  just released and I love the red and gold to add to purse or bags for traveling.  It would even look great on a diaper bag or a book bag.

  • We can’t talk about accessories without the perfect holiday shoes.  These just dropped today from Sarah Flint and I’m OBSESSED!  The olive color with the gold filigree is so pretty together.  Heck I would wear these all year round, but especially for the Christmas season!

What are some things you are loving to accessorize with this holiday?  I’d love to hear some of your favorites too….

Falling for Fall

It’s fall-ish outside y’all and I’m HERE FOR IT!  Even though it’s still in the 90’s in my mind it’s “sweater weather“.  I can’t wait to bust out all my fall clothing and cardigans.  We’ve been crazy busy, as always you can check me on the daily on Instagram.

Terence and I recently celebrated our 20 year anniversary.  I can’t believe it’s been 20 years…time sure has flown in a the blink of an eye.  This is one of my favorite wedding photos and I had a gal on Etsy turn it into a watercolor- someday I’d like to frame it and put in our room.  I’m so glad I get to spend the rest of my life with this handsome and smart as whip man.  He keeps me sane and loves me despite my many many flaws.  I love you babe.  Thank you for being you and loving me.

Today let’s talk about FALL FASHION!!!

I recently ordered this gold stack diamond ring from one of my all time favorite jewelry stores.  It’s incredibly well made and versatile with anything you wear.  If you want to mix and match your rings, or even use it as a wedding band to go along with your other rings.  When I received this ring in the mail it was packaged beautifully along with a gorgeous travel case.  I find myself wearing this EVERY DAY!!!

Let’s talk fall fashion:

I’m loving these two items on my wish list.

This ONE is only $12.00 and reminds me of candy corn for fall.

One of my favorite shops to buy hoodies and sweaters is Evy’s Tree.  I’ve bought items from them for YEARS and wear them over and over again.  I love this sweater because it’s one of my favorite colors – Starbucks green 🙂

Speaking of fall jewelry I’m also LOVING this piece from Lindsey Leigh Jewelry.  She has several Ombre butterfly necklaces that are so beautiful.  Definitely a dream piece.

My friend Brianna Cannon has some gorgeous and FUN pieces for fall as well and I just ordered the pumpkin earrings.  She gave me a discount code to share with y’all.  I’m so obsessed with her headbands- they are the best!  DISCOUNT CODE: BECKY10

We have put out all our fall and pumpkins in the house and Heidi helped me.  She’s slightly obsessed with pumpkins and scarecrows right now lol! We can’t wait for the pumpkin patch to open across the street and take in all the fall vibes.  Heidi’s dress is from Smocked Sweets.

I’m also about to start FALL PHOTO SESSIONS.  IF YOU’D LIKE TO BOOK AND LIVE IN DFW YOU CAN BOOK HERE.

I’d love to hear some of your favorite fall finds???  What are you loving to wear or decorate with this fall???

Dainty Details: Layering Gold Necklaces

This post is sponsored by Responsival.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

These days I’m all about dainty gold jewelry. I’ve always loved to layer my jewelry and add to some of my statement pieces as well.  AU-Rate has some of the most beautiful, sparkly pieces I’ve seen to date.  All the goods, like dainty gold necklaces, rings, and earrings.  I recently purchased this emerald birthstone necklace and have been wearing it every day since.  It’s so beautiful, and most of the time I don’t even realize it’s on.  I can wear it with my other statement necklaces easily because it’s a great layering piece.

With my 40th birthday coming up (**cough**)  I love this piece as a remembrance of the month when my twin sis and I were born.  I’d love to add a couple more with maybe the kid’s birthstones and my hubby’s.   This would also make a great gift for a May birthday gal or a graduate this season too!

The necklace was packaged beautifully with a travel pouch if you are going somewhere and want to take it with you.

Mother’s Day gift idea alert!!!  With Mother’s Day right around the corner these gold birthstone rings are beautiful to layer with your wedding band.

I love wearing jewelry.  It just makes me put together.  As a Mom that works full-time outside the home…y’all know it’s sometimes hard to look “put together”.  That’s the thing about jewelry, even the simplest of pieces shine and can make you feel like a million bucks Mamas!  Now that I have a little girl in my life I’m hoping I can pass on some of these beautiful jewels to my daughter someday.  I want her to enjoy them just as much as I do!  Speaking of having a daughter…where’s my wedding dress from 20 years ago???  I know she’d totally want to wear that again! Ha ha!  Oh how time flies!

Doesn’t everyone have a dream ring?  As you get older your style changes and I’m obsessed with art deco rings and old world cut stones.  I’ve been to several jewelry shows here in Dallas with my friend Ellen, so I’ve seen a lot of different styles.  It would be so cool to design fine jewelry- I love old world stones because something about them is other worldly.  They look like they’ve been through a lot and still shine incredibly brilliant.

These adorable heart hoops from one of my favorite designers Kendra Scott are also a classic piece.  Has anyone seen her as a judge on Shark Tank this season?  My Mom was telling me about her being on the show and I’ve yet to see her!  Love her story.

No matter who you are buying for…or even if you are gifting yourself because #YOLO.  These dainty gold and classic pieces are always a great choice.  What kind of jewelry are you all into these days?  I know styles and trends certainly change over the years.  If you would have asked me 15 years ago I would have said I’m a silver girl all the way, but lately I’m loving the comeback of yellow gold.

Don’t forget to accessorize ladies! Muah!

The Perfect Gift with Bose Frames from Best Buy

This post is sponsored by Best Buy.

I have found the perfect gift for YOU this holiday season!  If you know my husband, then you know he’s the most sound obsessed person ever.  He’s obsessed with all things speakers and loves to sit back and listen to music.  That’s the way he relaxes…like a lot of people!  So, when I was asked to try the new Bose Frames I was super excited!  I knew they would be a big hit, especially for the music lovers in your life.  Bose Frames come in two different models, the Bose Alto (large or small sizes), and Bose Rondo.

These are the first audio sunglasses with built-in Bose speakers for an immersive audio experience unlike any other. Personal audio hidden inside two classic designs, each enriched with premium accents and materials. Play music, take calls, and enjoy the sun with UVA/UVB protection.

Here I am wearing the Rondo and the Alto side by side.  You can see the Rondo is a bit more round, and the Alto is style more like a classic RayBan sunglasses style.

These sunglasses are really convenient when you want a hands-free wireless experience.  No wearing headphones with sunglasses, so that frees you up to sit and enjoy being outside without all the wires and fuss!  The Bose Frames allow you to take phone calls, talk to Siri or Google Assistant, and they are super light.  Not to mention the sound through the tiny speakers is impeccable.

Turning on the Frames is as easy as pressing the single button under the right side. The button also serves as a pause/play button for accepting a call. Double press to skip forward, triple for back.  To switch them off just turn them upside down for a second or so. It all works great. The one thing they’re missing is volume control, so you’ll have to use your phone for that.

Everything is controlled using the Bose App.  Bose AR (the app) is an audio-first approach to augmented reality. Bose AR-enabled products have motion sensors embedded inside that can detect your head orientation and body movement while you wear them. Bose AR-enhanced apps can then use this information along with location data from your mobile device to offer you tailored audio content.

These sunglasses are so light you barely even realize there are speakers inside and they sound like you are wearing headphones right over your ears.

Sizing Guide:

Each pair includes a charger.  The charge time varied and they can stay charged for up to 2-3 hours at a time.  These would be great for a road trip, hike, or just being outdoors in general.

The Bose Frames also come with a really nice case.  The Frames support standard Bluetooth audio (SBC) as well as the higher quality AAC audio.

If  you are out shopping this week or searching for the perfect gift for Christmas…check out the Bose Frames at Best Buy.  They are super fun, great quality, and gosh darn it they make me want to wear my sunglasses at night!

And just for kicks….here’s my little diva.  Lots to be thankful for this year!  Happy Thanksgiving everyone 🙂
