Cruising with Kids: Norwegian Cruises Giveaway!

Terence and I love to travel.  In fact you can check out all our travels on the navigation tab above under Categories: Travel.  Among the ways we love to travel is cruising.  Traveling on a cruise ship is great because it’s an easy way to plan a vacation.  Terence and I have cruised before, but it’s been about 10 years and I think we are about due for another one.  We definitely had a great time and our entire cruising experience was something we still talk about years later.  This time we have our son, Connor. Let me tell you vacationing with a 3 year old is a lot different than vacationing just the two of us.  It’s still a lot of fun we just have to plan activities around him as well!  We wouldn’t have it any other way.  We want him to feel included and have fun too.

(love that you get to dress up on cruises!)

That’s why I think Norwegian Cruise Line’s youth program is a great option for our next vacation. Norwegian is now offering Nickelodeon experiences on some ships. In order to continue to offer the best experience for families, Norwegian has revamped its youth program. Kids will never be bored with all of the below new enhancements.

The youth program from Norwegian will keep kids of all ages active and entertained throughout the entire cruise.  You know what that means?  Mom and Dad can get a little R&R in too while still enjoying fun activities as a family!

Parents can join in on the fun during some brand new family events, of course all activities are optional.  The youth counselors are highly energized, engaging and a key benefit of the youth program – the kids will love them! They are cool, hip, active and fun.

Exclusively aboard Norwegian Cruise Line, Hilario Productions presents Cirque Du Jour. Cirque Du Jour will offer circus school consisting of a series of family workshops throughout the cruise including a circus show starring your kids and surprise pop-ups throughout the week by stilt walking clowns, balloon animal makers and much, much more! Oh gosh this sounds like something we would all enjoy!  Non-stop interactive workshops will encourage learning, allowing kids to develop new skills while having fun and giving them something memorable to take home with them.

In addition to the youth programs, Norwegian is an ideal option for a family vacation because now Norwegian gives families their best vacation ever with Freestyle Cruising® and exclusive Nickelodeon™ entertainment.  With so many activities and dining experiences you are bound to have a great time together.  The ships also feature slides, pools, and lots of family entertainment.  So what are you waiting for?  If you’ve been looking for something fun to do with your family this summer, but don’t have the time or energy to plan out every single day and activity (like me) then Norwegian takes care of all of that for you!  No fuss and all fun!  Make memories that will last a lifetime for you and your child.

  1. Before kids, my dream vacation was to travel in the Holy Land, Greece, Rome and Ireland with no time restraints or specific must be somewhere plans.
Now with kids, I want a vacation that is all-inclusive (save $$$) and has opportunities to do short activities or just relax. We are thinking that a cruise or an all-inclusive resort will be the best for us until our kids (ages 2 & 4) get older.

  2. I’d love to go on a family cruise with my husband and daughter. Actually spend some care free time together just having fun, it would be awesome! Maybe to Alaska, always wanted to go there.

  3. I look for fun for the whole family. A relaxing environment for my husband and I, and plenty of fun activities for my son.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. Our dream vacation would be to go to the ocean and see Colombia for 2 weeks, my sons were adopted from there.

  5. My 2nd entry, “My Dream Vacation for My Family” would always included water and sand. We love the beach and usually take our vacations to Florida, but we would love to go to the Caribbean or some place like that. We have never taken a cruise so that is something that is at the top of our dream list. Winning this cruise for my family would come at a great time this year. This is my oldest sons senior year in high school and may be our last yr for a while to take a family vacation together. Because when he starts college next yr, he will be on a totally different schedule and will be on a different new and exciting part in his life. I would LOVE & SO APPRECIATE a wonderful family vacation together. My boys are my life and it is so hard to see them grow up and be off to find their way in life. I think I am going to have a harder time then they are, LOL…

  6. I have loved the cruises that we have been on in the past. It is such a carefree way to travel and I would love to take my family on one!

  7. It would be wonderful to get away any place tropical where we could have fun family time as well as dates for my husband and myself.

  8. My mom has some mobilty issues so a cruise would be great! We’d love to go to the South Pacific or the Mediterranean.

  9. My parents went to Egypt for their 25th anniversary. I always loved their slides, and would love to go there myself.

  10. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to go on my dream vacation: to the Panama Canal! It is a special place to my family and our ancestors, so I am hoping to be selected.

  11. Hello, Neat post. There’s a problem with your website in internet explorer, might test this? IE nonetheless is the market leader and a good portion of other people will miss your excellent writing because of this problem.

  12. If we are talking dream vacation and anything goes, I would be on an endless vacation to mostly islands all over the world. From Alaskan islands to the Bahamas to Okinawa 🙂
