Biggest Loser Blogger Challenge



Okay Everyone!
Are you ready to start the Biggest Loser Blogger Challenge?
(Remember it’s about FEELING good, not just looking good!)
My goal in doing this is to have a support group for all of us.  I know losing weight is really hard.  Every year after the holidays we all put on a few extra pounds.  And every year I vow to take it off and this is going to be my year to make it happen!
I’ve struggled with it my entire life.  A lot is genetic, some is not.  I have a major sweet tooth….ahem…that’s going to be the hardest thing for me to kick.  This week I’m trying to avoid all sweets.  If your thing is cokes, then try cutting out cokes slowly.  If you have a program that works for you like Weight Watchers or a workout video then go for it!
I don’t want everyone to follow a specific program or diet.  Not all diets work for the same people, plus I want to read about what all of you are doing as well!  If you have recipes to share or workout tips, this would be the time to do it.  I hope we all can be each other’s cheerleader and support group.
I’m really looking forward to following your journey.  I hope I don’t fail you.  I want to keep you accountable and you to keep ME accountable.
  • Every Monday starting January 7th-March 25th come back here and link up your post for the Biggest Loser Challenge.
  • If you want to post pictures or specifics about your body/weight you can.  If you don’t feel comfortable doing that then just put *starting #* and after that you can put (- pounds from starting weight)
  • I’m going to post a motivation picture.  We all have that ONE picture that we look back on and are like “dang I remember those days”.  This coming Monday I’ll post my motivation picture and you can too if you would like.
  • Share your plan, goals, and recipes.
  • Read other participates blogs, comment, support, be real, honest, and show love.
  • On the last day of the contest I’ll announce a winner!!! (Working on a finale prize- details to come soon!  I hope it’s something super fabulous)
The goal here is to give you a jump start and motivate you to start a good healthy habit.

  1. This is a great idea. I started a diet on January 1st too . . . cliche, but whatever it takes! I’m not counting calories this time, but only eating healthy/natural foods (which includes avoiding bread, pasta, etc. unfortunately). I’ve been doing Jillian Michaels’ Ripped in 30 and will alternate that with running/walking . . . we’ll see how it goes! Excited to check back here on Monday for everyone’s links! 🙂

  2. Love this idea! And I love how we can hold each other accountable! One suggestion that I have is maybe you could make that pic a button? We could always put it in the post. Just a thought!
