Having a sister is one of the greatest blessings Iโve ever had in my entire life.ย I have not just a sister but a twin sister!ย Growing up we shared EVERYTHING!ย We shared clothes, makeup, shoes, cars, jobs, classes at school … just about everything.
My sister is one of the only people in the world who I feel truly understands me.ย ย Sheโs someone who knows what I am thinking just by looking at me.ย We share a unique bond a lot of people donโt understand, but itโs one Iโve been thankful for and consider it very special.
Of course growing up we also had our share of fights!ย Ha ha!ย Not everything was perfect, but I canโt imagine growing up without her.ย We even got pregnant and had our boys together!ย They are two months apart.ย I hope they share a special bond someday like we have over the years.ย Although life has taken us on separate paths, I know our love for one another will always be there.ย

Connor and I watched the movie โSecret of the Wingsโ.ย Actually, Connor has probably watched it over 5 times!ย Itโs an adorable movie about sisterhood.ย Tinker Bell and Periwinkle are long-lost sisters and donโt even know it.ย
Tinker Bell lives on the warm side of the border, while her sister lives on the cold, winter side.ย Neither can survive the climate on the opposite side of the border.ย Tinker Bell sneaks across and discovers her wings start to sparkle.ย This leads her on a journey to a world unknown and the discovery of a sister and a bond she never knew existed.ย

You can follow Tinker Bell and Periwinkle on their journey in โSecret of the Wingsโ.ย I donโt want to give away the whole movie or the ending, but itโs such a cute film.ย I loved the meaning behind this movie and the memories it brought to mind of my sister and me.
ย โSecret of the Wingsโ follows seven brand new characters that join Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow. They are Periwinkle, who is Tinkโs sister; Lord Milori, the imposing but kind leader of the Winter Woods; Dewey, the keeper of all fairy knowledge; Gliss and Spike, Periwinkleโs two best friends; Sled, a winter sparrowman; and Slush, a mellow laid-back โsparrow-dudeโ(or โfairy-dudeโ).
This is a little fact I just love!ย The production enlisted the help of a noted twin-study expert. Hearing the incredible stories of long-lost twins reuniting and viewing footage of twins meeting for the first time was extremely helpful in developing how Tinker Bell and Periwinkle react to each other, both physically and emotionally.ย ย
One of my favorite new shows is โSmashโ. “Secret of the Wings” includes Megan Hilty, who performs the voice of garden fairy Rosetta, and Anjelica Huston, who performs as Queen Clarion, both on โSmash.โ โSecret of the Wingsโ is the first movie in the Disney Fairies franchise to be produced in 3D. ย ย
I think you will truly enjoy this movie whether you have a sister or not.ย Everyone has that best friend who they think of like a sister.ย I hope yaโll enjoy it as much as we did!ย Itโs very cute, and I know this movie will pull at your heart strings just like it did mine.
