Sort of Kind of Fixed

Welp.  After coming home, cooking dinner, and messing with my blog for almost an hour….it is somewhat back to normal.  I lost a bunch of stuff during my “mess up”.  Including my beloved Starbucks wall with links….I may cry.  I don’t know what I did to screw up this thing!  UGH.  Just frustrated that is all…….maybe eventually I can get things back to the way they were.

But it’s not the end of the world…I’m going to go spend some time with my family now!

Issues

I’m having issues with my blog and the layout is all messed up!  I may need someone to help me!!!! UGH.

Is the right column gone or pushed down on anyone else’s computer?

Weekend Wrap Up

On Saturday we all three got around and headed to the outlet malls.  Terence needs some new clothes for his new job.  He’s been working in shorts and t-shirts for the past few years.  He’ll now have to wear a shirt and tie everyday!  A big change for him!  Unfortunately, we didn’t find anything at the mall.  We did find a few things for Connor, but other than that it was a bust.
We did find a few things at the mall on sale later on in the day…so it was a good start!
Of course we fueled up before the day!

Connor got to conduct his own choo choo at the outdoor mall 🙂

We also ate at our favorite (gas station) taco place!  They have the most amazing street tacos and they are so cheap! SO GOOD!

Connor climbing on furniture….he’s been kind of destructive lately.  He pulled up the tracks on his train table that were NAILED down.  I was pretty upset about that because I don’t really think the table is going to be able to withstand another tear down.  We tried to explain to him if he does that again he won’t have a place for his choo choos to ride…but I’m not sure he got it???

Shopping with a toddler.  Don’t you just love how they hide in clothing racks….

I saw this food truck on the street here in Fort Worth.  I’ve GOT to find this Bagon Wagon.  Where are you!!!!  Bacon Bacon Bacon!!!!

Welp, back at work this morning and have got lots to do!  We have our best friends from AR coming with their family this weekend to visit.  I’m so excited!  It’s always nice to have something to look forward to at the end of the week!  Hope you all had a blessed weekend and great memories made!
ALSO–  I’m going to try my hand at some freezer meals.  If you have any recommendations or you’ve done this before please give me some advice because I’ve never done it.  I think it will be good for us, because if there is one thing I struggle with every night it’s “What’s for dinner?”.

xoxo Becky

Show Us Your Life: Dining Rooms

So here it is….our palatial dining room…..
Ha ha!  Nope.  This is a dining room we saw while in England.  OMG.  Terence and I were laughing because we don’t even think we know that many people to invite to dinner!

This is where we normall eat.  It’s the area off of our kitchen.  We do have a dining area, which is now taken up by Terence’s home office.  I would eventually like to get a dining set.  Actually, our wedding china from 11 years ago is still packed in the original boxes….yikes!

I would like a formal dining area someday and be able to unpack all that beautiful china.

The area across from the living area is what we call our “dining” room now….but it currently is our home office.

BUT- Maybe it can turn back into a dining room soon because Terence won’t be working from home anymore!!! Terence has accepted a new job! It’s a great opportunity for him and although he won’t be at home….it will be so good for his career. I also think it will be good for him to be out of the house and with peers. He’ll learn a lot and be able to advance. I think all this schooling may just be starting to pay off….Thank you Lord! I’m so excited for him and this new adventure. I know it’s going to mean some changes, but all in all I feel like this is a door the Lord has opened and we’ll see what happens!

We have had our eye on the Benchwright table from Pottery Barn for a few years now.  Maybe one day we’ll be able to purchase it.

And just because: This is some of the best eat’n you ever have!  This is how we do it in Arkansas on the farm 🙂  Fried tater, cornbread, ham, garden corn, baked beans, all the fixins…..Ahhhh I miss the farm!

There is Nannie in the background probably frying something up!

We hope you all have a relaxing weekend and chocolate popsicle wishes!!!!
