And so it Goes

Day one of diet.  Hard.  Tired.  Hungry.

I can do this.

We just did our sprints & ate our chicken with cabbage/cucumber/mango salad.  Not as bad as you would think!  I’m going through major MAJOR caffeine withdrawals which is to be expected.

My 1 venti Starbucks every day = a six pack of coke

It’s the only caffeine I drink during the day, but lets just say that was probably too much eh???

I have a before picture and maybe if I look good enough at the end of all this I’ll post it.  Maybe not.  I am too embarrassed to show that muffin toppin going on.

I have a work lunch tomorrow & even though we are going out I requested we go somewhere with a salad bar.

My biggest issues have always been caffeine and chocolate.  Those are my loves.

Thanks for all your encouraging words and sweetness…..my new job is keeping me busy!  I have a lot to learn & I am a bit overwhelmed….but again….I CAN DO THIS!!!  Amen!

Goal pic 🙂

  1. It is hard. I recently stopped buying Oreos and candy. it is amazing just that small reduction in my diet did for me. Keep up the hard work!

  2. Hang in there! Keep your eye on the prize and before you know it there goes 20 lbs! I gave up sugar for 2 months a few years ago and dropped 20 lbs in no time flat.

  3. I think you look beautiful, but I know what you mean about not feeling comfortable in your own skin. I’m trying, too! You are going to be my motivation to stick to it!!! You are doing great just starting!!!!!

  4. Not any pressure or anything, but I am watching to see how you do on this. I have never heard of this diet and have been reading about it. I have GOT to do something my self.

  5. The beginning is the hardest part! Someone told me the other day that it takes 21 days (or something like that) to create a habit. Once you create a habit of eating healthy, it’ll totally stick! Keep at it, girl!

  6. You guys can make the change…even if it’s a process 🙂
You shouldn’t be hungry while eating these foods…did you not eat enough or were you watching your calories specifically yesterday?
Just curious, as ideally, you shouldn’t feel very hungry at all.
