We had a busy fun and busy weekend!
Terence and I got to attend a western fashion show and benefit called Branded
. His Aunt Beverly & Aunt Lyn both help put on this show every year in part with their Careity Foundation
. It was really nice! The dinner was catered by Reata
and was delish! They did a great job! It was fun to have a night out and see the cousins and have some fun 🙂
Thank you Aunt Loyce & Uncle Garry for watching our munchkin!
Western Fashion Show
Including some shirtless cowboys! Oh my!
In other weekend news:
I love some peanut butter pie. It’s one of my favorite desserts because it is SO easy to make and tastes SO good!
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter, plus 2 tablespoons, divided
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 (12 oz.) container (4 1/2 cups) frozen whipped topping
1 prepared chocolate pie crust
1.BEAT together 1 cup peanut butter, cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer on medium, until well combined. Gently mix in 2 cups whipped topping until thoroughly combined. Spoon mixture into pie shell. Using a spatula, smooth mixture to edges of pie.
2. Spread whipped cream topping over pie. Refrigerate until set. (I mixed the dark chocolate peanut butter with my whipped cream for a chocolate topping)
I also had a little helper in the kitchen….
Dude decided to draw with Crayons all over my kitchen tile! Good thing it was easy to get off : /
Hope ya’ll had a great weekend!
