Our Trip Home

Connor & I had a great trip home!  It was short but sweet.  The plane ride there was not too bad considering it was after 10 pm when we landed.  He only spazzed the last 10 minutes or so.  Of course that was right after a guy told me how good my kid was behaving….of course
We landed and Nana & Poppy couldn’t wait to get their hands on Connor!  We woke up early the next day and got ready to go to the farm.  My Dad brought some Stoby‘s home for lunch-YUMMY!  After we ate lunch we headed to see Nannie aka Great Grandma 🙂

Nannie’s garden had SO many butterflies in it!

Connor was in Heaven just running all over the place!
The best part there were no busy streets for him to run into….
 Just a swinging

The enormous spread of fried foods and home cooking….gulp….
Sweet Nannie slaving away in the kitchen
We also visited Papa & put some flowers on his grave 🙂

Gotta stay hydrated it’s hot!  I always take such good naps at Nannie’s house! Ha ha!

We also celebrated my Aunt Karli’s birthday.
We like to eat at a local soda fountain shop in Mountain View.
I love visiting here & the atmosphere is adorable!

Eating a lemon with cousin Lindsey
 My yummy chocolate malt
Connor tried his first root beer float

We had the BEST time and can’t wait to come home again soon!
The flight home was a WHOLE other story…he cried almost the entire flight 🙁  I was mortified and frazzled.  But, like Terence said I’ll probably never see those people again.  I sure hope not because I am sure they hated me! 😛  Oh well what can ya do?
It was all worth it!  I love you all to pieces and I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful family!
