BFF in Town

One of my best friends, Ellen, was in town last night.  I miss her so much!  I’ve known Ellen since middle school.  She’s been a wonderful friend, a shopping companion, and a buffer between many arguments involving me and Bon! LOL!  It’s hard to be friends with twins 😛
We met in middle school and have been friends since.  We have lots of great memories growing up together…I miss those days!  Ellen was in Frisco last night so we met up at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, cheesecake, and some spontaneous makeup/jewelry shopping at Norstrom.  Ellen is always so much fun to shop with, she has a degree in fabric textiles and works for JCPenny.  I hope some day she can get a job at the headquarters here in Texas so I can have her here close by.  Ellen, it was so great to see you and visit, even if only for a little while.  Love ya! Becky

Connor loves Auntie Ellen she’s so funny!
Ter-Bear came too 🙂

Everything at the Cheesecake Factory is SOOOOO good!

Ellen’s cheesecake
My Godiva Cheesecake
YUUUUUUUMMMMMMM……
After consuming enough calories to feed a small country for a month we walked around the mall a bit.  Probably should have done a few more laps after these bad boys!
Here we are at my wedding almost 10 years ago
We stopped by Pottery Barn Kids in the mall and saw this chair.  Connor LOVED this chair…like seriously bouncing up and down.  Do ya’ll have one of these chairs for your kids?  Do they actually sit in them?  I’m trying to justify the price of this chair because it’s a bit expensive!
Ya’ll have a great weekend friends!
xoxo Becky

  1. I don’t know how close they are to this one, but they have similar kid-sized chairs (even a recliner, I think) at Big Lots. They’re so cute and tiny–I wanted to get one!

  2. My daughter loved having her own special chair….we just got hers at Target at a fraction of the cost. Still haven’t gotten one for Cannon yet….he’s too busy eating everything off the floor to worry about sitting anywhere just yet – ha!

  3. Wowie! Those are two huge slices of cheesecake! And I bet they were soooo darn good. Ugh I want some now 🙂

So that chair is so stinkin cute. But I was wondering the same thing. Do they really sit in them enough to make it worth while? I am guessing no with a bouncing toddler…but it is very cute. May be worth the cutness factor 🙂

  4. All three of my boys have one of these chairs (my two older boys have had theirs for quite so time). They are not the most practical chairs as they have no back support. They end up getting really stretched out. They are adorable but I am not sure they are worth the money.

  5. deegan sat in one of those chairs at a friends house and loooved it. i want to get him one but they are so expensive. we got him a bean bag chair at target for $20 and he will sit in it for a little bit. the bean bag is more for daddy to wrestle with him on it. i hope to find a PB chair on craigslist or at a yard sale. i am too cheap! lol

  6. Hooray for BFF time! I’m visiting my besties this weekend and having a blast!!

And Connor in that tiny chair… oh my. He couldn’t get any cuter!

    Happy weekend!

  7. Hi! We got my 22 month old a PBK chair for her 1st birthday and let me tell you, it was one of the greatest purchases we have made for her yet! We lucked out with the chair we got, because it was a “floor sample” (meaning kids used it for the story time they had at the sotre). It was deeply discounted and I ended up getting her name put on it at a local shop (much cheaper). Oh yeah… and you couldn’t even tell that little behinds were sitting in it daily! It’s still in great condition and my daughter wallers in it!
