Here is the little angel sleeping. I can’t even remember Connor being this tiny??? Isn’t it crazy how fast time flies and how quickly you forget little things? She was just adorable and so cuddly 🙂

Party Planning on the Cheap
I thought I would share with you some of the party decor I’ve found. I know I am severely early in planning all this, but I like to have time and pace myself, plus I enjoy having something to work on and craft with in my free time…whenever that is! ha..ha..
Most of the things I have found are in the $1 bin at craft stores. I’ve shopped at Michael’s, Jo Ann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, or Target. It may not be birthday related, but it can fit into your theme if you are creative 😉
I cut these owls freehand and I’m going to hang some and place the others around different places. They are so cute and easy to make. All you have to buy is paper 🙂
Big Apple Bound
A couple weeks ago I got home from work and these were sitting on the kitchen counter…..
Long story short, I have wanted a pair of Uggs for years and never gotten any. I just haven’t been able to justify buying them living in Texas and all. I do love them and they are SO warm and comfy! I don’t even notice I am not wearing a sock! Thank you babe, that was so sweet of you!
Dinner time. It’s always a struggle for me. I’ve been looking on the Internet for one pot meals and things like that so I won’t be so stressed out when I come home from work. “What’s for dinner?” That is the never ending question!!! I am tired of frozen pizzas and we are trying to eat better….as long as we get a protein and a veggie in I am good with that. I do like those steam veggies. There are only so many ways I can cook chicken though! HELP! Do you have a suggestion for a quick easy one pot meal or casserole?
I can’t believe we are already half way through January! Where has the time gone? Where has this baby gone???
First Snow
So yesterday we built a fire and watched Everest on Discovery Channel. I made chocolate chip pancakes and bacon for breakfast too 🙂 That show is CRAZY you guys! I would not survive an hour on that mountain. The lack of oxygen and the mental determination you need would kill me. Terence wants to climb Mt. Rainier with a friend and that is making me nervous 😛
Terence and Connor looked so cute yesterday sleeping I ran and grabbed the camera and snapped this picture. I love them 🙂
Look who is showing off his bottom teeth! Connor has been feeling a lot better over the past weekend…thank you Lord! He has been a whole new baby. I think the combo of him being sick and teething just wore him out.
He was sitting there watching me cook breakfast yesterday. He loves to sit in the kitchen with me while cooking. It’s such a trip…he just wants to be involved in EVERYTHING right now!
Happy Weekend :)
Party Planning
This is what I have so far:
- A blingy tablecloth cover
- I made some of those tissue paper pom poms. They are a cheap and cute way to decorate. Some of the ones I made look better than others 😛
- I am going to do a small candy buffet. I’ve always loved these, but have never done one. I don’t know where a good place is to buy candy to put in them? The colors are orange, green, blue, and brown.
I found these “Connor” balloons and confetti at Party City and thought that was so cute! I also found these cute birthday labels I think I am going to use for the candy jars. I’m not using the pink ones though!
A New Year Has Come
One milestone will be my 30th birthday, this scares me…it scares me bad! BUT– won’t be celebrating alone because Ter-bear will celebrate his big 3-0 two weeks before me 😛
Here is Sicky McSickface yesterday. In order to keep him entertained he has a ball of tin foil and a bottle cap…he wants nothing to do with his toys that are scattered all over the living room! It’s the little things people…it’s the little things….
I love you my baby boo…today you are feeling a bit better, but you can still tell you are not 100% in your eyes. This is the first time you’ve been sick, so Mommy is not taking it so well!
On New Year’s Eve Terence and I got to go on a date to dinner and the movies. Aunt Loyce watched baby C and we had a great time getting out just the two of us! Thank you A. Loyce!!! *shout out*
Before the movie we had dinner at Red Robin. I love their garden burgers and we ordered this massive glacier on a plate. It was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!
Saturday Amber and I went shopping around for crafts and went to Party City. Her son is celebrating his 2nd birthday in a couple weeks and Connor’s is less than two months away so I’ve started planning a bit. I’m doing a “Look Whooo’s turning 1” theme. With OWLS of course! Would you expect anything else???
Another milestone T and I will celebrate this year is 10 years of marriage! I love you babe – you are my heart, my best friend, my soul mate, and I thank God every day he brought you into my life! You are the best husband and Daddy anyone could ask for and I LOVE YOU! Can’t wait to celebrate with you this year!
