A New Year Has Come

…In the words of Celine Dion…..
Well, her song is “A New Day has Come” but you get the point….
In 2011 I’ll be celebrating many milestones.

One milestone will be my 30th birthday, this scares me…it scares me bad!  BUT– won’t be celebrating alone because Ter-bear will celebrate his big 3-0 two weeks before me 😛

(Don’t you love the snazzy glasses I got at Party City?)

Here is Sicky McSickface yesterday.  In order to keep him entertained he has a ball of tin foil and a bottle cap…he wants nothing to do with his toys that are scattered all over the living room!  It’s the little things people…it’s the little things….

I love you my baby boo…today you are feeling a bit better, but you can still tell you are not 100% in your eyes.  This is the first time you’ve been sick, so Mommy is not taking it so well!

On New Year’s Eve Terence and I got to go on a date to dinner and the movies.  Aunt Loyce watched baby C and we had a great time getting out just the two of us!  Thank you A. Loyce!!! *shout out*

We saw The Fighter with this beefcake of hunka hunka burnin love…Mark Wahlberg.  I heart Marky Mark.  He was really ripped in the movie and you could tell he worked hard for the role.  On the other hand his co-star Christian Bale who played his crack addicted brother looked awful!  He really lost a LOT of weight and looked beyond sickly.  The things actors do for a movie role….I guess if I was getting paid millions of dollars I may go anorexic for a few months too…whatever….the movie was good and I would recommend on video.

Before the movie we had dinner at Red Robin.  I love their garden burgers and we ordered this massive glacier on a plate.  It was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!

Saturday Amber and I went shopping around for crafts and went to Party City.  Her son is celebrating his 2nd birthday in a couple weeks and Connor’s is less than two months away so I’ve started planning a bit.  I’m doing a “Look Whooo’s turning 1” theme.  With OWLS of course!  Would you expect anything else???

I loved these $$$ glasses too!  Party City has some rockin glasses ya’ll!
And of course we had Starbucks 🙂

Another milestone T and I will celebrate this year is 10 years of marriage!  I love you babe – you are my heart, my best friend, my soul mate, and I thank God every day he brought you into my life!  You are the best husband and Daddy anyone could ask for and I LOVE YOU!  Can’t wait to celebrate with you this year!

What are you looking forward to in 2011?

Gotta run…crying baby calling!

  1. I just hit 31 and it was harder for me than 30. At 30 I still felt like I was teetering on the fence between my 20’s and 30’s. Now I just feel like I have fallen off the fence and am rolling down the hill towards my 40’s !

  2. What a lot of amazing milestones 2011 holds for you!
Poor little Connor, I hope he feels better. P has been sick too, he has the croup, so sad and the reason I have not blogged much since I’ve just been cuddling him. I feel your pain girl with a sick baby.

  5. WOW, turning the big “30”???? Gosh, I wish I was just turning 30 this year. ENJOY! 🙂 My husbands birthday is 11 days after mine so he always teases me when my Birthday comes, how he is dating an “older” woman. ha! We will be “38” this year. “38”, sigh!

Anyway, love the glasses and I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE PICTURES OF CONNORS “1ST” BIRTHDAY. I also hope he starts to feel better soon.

Love, love, love your blog my friend 🙂

  6. Happy birthday! I just found your blog on 20SB and came by because I want to follow more Mommys! Your son is just a few months older than mine and he’s super cute! Sorry he’s sick. 🙁 And congrats on the date! Isn’t it funny how much they matter again? Good to “meet” you!
