I saw these at Central Market yesterday….one day I am going to decorate a gingerbread house with Connor boy 🙂

One more day and I am headed home to be with my family! I am beyond excited and have been counting down the hours until we leave!!! Woohoo!!!

And a fun little video if you are flying this holiday season…here is what you have to look forward to!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Me & My Shadow

This week is going to be incredibly busy.  I am working until Thursday and then that evening Terence is dropping Connor and I off at the airport so we can fly home to Arkansas.  It will be Connor’s first plane ride and visit to Nannie & Papa’s farm!

Connor has been SUPER clingy lately and it’s hard for me to even sit down without him wanting to play or be held.  He is my shadow…my little kangaroo for sure!  Sometimes he even hangs on me so hard he pulls my pants down!  I hope he never does that one in public!

After the holidays are over I am definitely going to have to go on a diet.  Things like gingerbread and eggnog are not so good for my waistline.  This gingerbread ice cream from Braum’s is so good ya’ll!

Terence and I have been playing sports all night on our XBox Kinect…I am wiped…at least if I have a scoop of ice cream I won’t feel so guilty if I work it off playing video games…ha..ha…

Christmas luncheon 2010

The bank I work at has a travel club and every year I get to help out with their Christmas luncheon.  I really enjoy it and it’s one of the few times I get to see all our travel customers in one place at the same time.  I feel like I have so many surrogate grandparents through the travel club and I love them so much!  They all wanted to see pictures of the baby and I was happy to show them!  I didn’t look like a big silver ornament ball like I did last year..ha…ha..

 Me & Julie
We had a little ornament mishap and left four boxes at work so we had to haul over there quickly Saturday morning so we could get the tables set up before everyone showed up!  Never a dull moment!
 The beautiful table settings
Every person got to take an ornament from the centerpiece home with them
This is one of my favorite customers 🙂
Mr. Mathis is 93 years old and says the secret to his longevity is drinking milk and champagne!
Two more of my favorite people!
 What a crowd!
Me with Terence’s Granddaddy and his precious wife Nell

The entertainment for the day was this guy and he sounded just like Frank Sinatra!  He did a really good job!

Loving all the pretty Christmas decor 🙂
 JoAnn & her hubby B.J.
 Cute little gingerbread people
When I got home yesterday afternoon Terence’s wanted to make some Auntie Annie’s pretzels.  They turned out delicious.  We made some cinnamon sugar and salted ones.  I loved the cinnamon sugar…so good!
Hope you all are having a great weekend!
We just got two new games for our XBox Kinect and have been having fun playing them!  We got Your Shape Fitness & Kinect Sports….after eating these pretzels we had to work off some calories!  It’s been a lot of fun and I don’t feel like I am working out, instead I’m playing a game and competing against Terence….who usually wins! I will beat him eventually though 😛

Ugly Christmas Sweaters

We all wore our ugly Christmas sweaters to work today.  We have some major tackiness going on…ha…ha..

These three gals all got the same shirt at WalMart…ha..ha…
Cassie & I in our “bling bling” light up earrings
Some more of my fabulous co-workers in their tacky sweaters.  Don’t they look great ya’ll?
And what would a Friday be without my Starbucks????
Connor is having his 9 month check up today.  I hate those worse than he does!!!  Terence is going to take him and call me at work later so I know how it went.
Connor got a hold of a green Sharpie last night while I was wrapping presents and got it all over his mouth!  It was hilarious, and I didn’t get a picture…I think I was in shock that he got a hold of that.  I walk away for two seconds and that’s what happens!!!  I am such a good Mom! Oh well….I know those things happen…..
I hope everyone has a great weekend! xoxo Becky

Learning about tigers and giraffes 🙂
Each kit includes 3 products — a DVD, a music CD and a colorful Book or Discovery Cards — that work together to take your baby and you on amazing journeys of discovery every day. Open up a new Discovery Kit and open the worlds of music, nature, animals, and art to your baby.

A Parent’s Journey Inside The WILD ANIMAL SAFARI DISCOVERY KIT

“Oh boy! Colors and shapes oh my!”
Oh our exploration………

Thank you Baby Einstein we LOVED our discovery kit 🙂

The new Discovery Kits encourage parents to take what they and their little one have seen on screen, in the book or on the Discovery Cards, or listened to on the CD and apply it to baby’s everyday life. They were created to grow with babies and are organized in a way that offers three distinct levels of discovery:

Level 1: Experience

Parent and child will listen to the joyous sounds and cherished works of Beethoven. See how music celebrates the sounds of different instruments. Together, they will experience a world of enchanting sights and sounds and make new discoveries with Baby Beethoven.

· Baby Mozart™ Discovery Kit includes a DVD, Book, Music CD and Parents’ Guide.

Parent and child will discover the joy of classical music together and listen to Mozart’s popular works – including “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” – delightfully reorchestrated for little ears. They’ll look at real-life images and enchanting puppet shows bringing a symphony of sights and sounds together as they share new discoveries with Baby Mozart.

Level 2: Explore

· Wild Animal Safari Discovery Kit includes a DVD, Discovery Cards, Music CD and Parents’ Guide.

Parents can take their little explorer on an exotic musical expedition to meet wild animals from across the globe. Together, they’ll journey to the jungle, savanna, desert and forest on a wild, wonderful voyage of discovery with Wild Animal Safari.

· Animals Around Me Discovery Kit includes a DVD, Discovery Cards, Music CD and Parents’ Guide.

Parent and child set off on a fun-filled “field trip” to discover animals found at the park, on the farm, and in their own backyard – whether furry or feathered, winged or wiggly, bumpy or cuddly, they’ll explore the Animals.

Level 3: Expression

· World of Colors Discovery Kit includes a DVD, Book, Music CD and Parents’ Guide.

Parent and child share a rainbow of sights and sounds and discover the wonders of color together! They’ll join puppet host “Vincent Van Goat” as he creates six Van Gogh masterpieces exploring red, green, blue, yellow, orange and purple with World of Colors.

· World of Words Discovery Kit includes a DVD, Book, Music CD and Parents’ Guide.

Parent and child join playful puppet host Bard the Dragon on an exciting adventure using everyday words, such as flower, cat, and moon, plus beautiful scenery from nature with World of Words.

The first six Discovery Kits are available for purchase November 23, 2010 and three additional Discovery Kits will be available in early 2011. The Baby Einstein Discovery Kits have a U.S. suggested retail price of $19.99.

Back to Blonde

Here is a blonde hair pic ya’ll have been asking for. I like it alright….I am hoping it will fade out a little bit because right now it’s sort of reddish blonde. What do you think?

This has GOT to be the busiest month ever!  I feel like I barely have time to breath between stuff I need to get done at home, for family, friends, and getting ready to travel with Connor on an airplane is making me nervous.  I really hope I don’t have any problems getting breastmilk through security, I mean they can’t make me dump that out right?
Anyways……….

I am LOVING the O.P.I. holiday line.  I love all things sparkly and bling!  Here I am wearing the “Extra-va-ganza!” color 🙂

Look who loves to “clap clap” ya’ll!
I hope everyone’s having a great week!
xoxo – Becky

God is Good

Terence’s buddy let me us borrow his fancy camera lens this past weekend.  We took some family pictures to try and get a shot for our Christmas cards.  Here are some of the ones we took!

So thankful to the Lord for my beautiful family 🙂

Terence and I have grown this past year and I love my husband now more than ever, Connor has filled our lives in ways we never knew could be filled…..thank you Jesus for your faithfulness to us!

 Total H.A.M.
Terence and I just finished watching The Good Wife from Netflix.  It’s a really good show and I would recommend it to anyone.  We don’t get to the movie theater very often anymore so we rent a lot of TV show seasons on DVD.  The only TV show I am really wanting to watch right now is Dexter…I keep hearing about the current season and it makes me so anxious to see it!
9 more days and I’ll be home in Arkansas….counting down the days…………….
In other news….I have dyed my hair back to blonde, not sure how it looks or if I’ll keep it around…but for now I guess it is okay……
