Whirlwind Weekend!

I can’t believe it’s already Monday….again….tomorrow! It seems like these weekends just fly by! With each passing day I get a little better acquainted with little Mister and he’s just growing up so fast already. I just love him so much..he’s my precious angel boy! Terence’s parents watched Connor for awhile on Saturday while I power cleaned the house and the exterminator came over. I was able to get some stuff done I’d been putting off before my family visits next weekend. I feel so much better when my house is clean and I’ve caught up on things. While cleaning I noticed how so much has changed in the past few months…gone is my pristine kitchen and house…it’s made way for things like this now….

The trusty bottle warmer…I love you!
Bottle racks now align my counter tops instead of decorations 🙂

And every morning before work I get my pump ready, a cooler with C’s bottles, and a smaller cooler to put my milk in. That doesn’t include his diaper bag, my purse, his car seat, and another bag! I feel like I am packing for a vacation only it’s every morning!

Little Mister has starting blowing bubbles and has become a drool monster! He hasn’t been feeling too good lately and I was worried to leave him in the nursery at church this morning, but he did really good again! I just hope he starts feeling better soon!

Note for Dad: “Mommy says just because I have a big poopy or a HUGE booger
doesn’t mean she wants to come SEE it!” LOL!

Terence grilled us an awesome dinner tonight. He made chicken stuffed with sage and mozzarella. He also grilled some corn and it was sooo good!
We are watching the Lost series finale event right now!

I also made some homemade salsa
(one of my favorite summertime foods)

Here are some pics we took while shopping this weekend.
Connor had to try on this hat…it was all his idea!

And of course we had some SB!

Tomorrow Connor gets to see his cousin Arielle again and go play 🙂
They loooove each other!
So sweet!
I hope you all had a great weekend!

  1. Awww! Life sure does change with munchkins!! I too traded some decor for kids stuff!

Enjoy Lost and have a great week! I’m excited you get to hang w/ your family very soon!

  2. Connor is so cute! I love the hat pic and the one with his cousin. They look so adorable together. 🙂
Did y’all go to Pantego this morning? It was just me & Jasmine this morning since Javier worked. I got to church really late, then had to leave early.

  3. omg..i know..it is such a chore to leave the house with all that bagage!!

he is super cute..and now i want corn..lol!

  4. mmmmmm….chips and salsa. forget summer food, i eat that ALL the time! ha.

love the pic of him blowing bubbles…precious!

  5. My counters look the same as yours – full of baby stuff. Oh and if you think its bad trying to get out the door with 1 – imagine what load you have with 2 little ones….I can’t remember the last time we actually made it anywhere on time. I am always forgetting something! 🙂
Loved the pics of Connor – they are really starting to get to the fun age now….. can’t wait 🙂

  6. Now it’s your turn to give me advice. I know I want to nurse baby #2 or at least try. I gave in 6days after my first was born, I know I’m terrible. But if all goes well, I’m debating how to pump at work. The only place to go is the bathroom. I could run home, but that isn’t something I want to do every single day. How have you managed?
