Happy Hour…GULP!

You all know how I feel about my coffee….and I need it now more than EVER
with the sleepless nights I’ve been experiencing!

I’ve had a rough week so far. Tuesday I went to pick Connor up and then I couldn’t find my cell phone so I drove all the way back to work and looked there…no phone! I finally found it under my passenger side seat in my car. I got home after 6 pm and needed to pump because my boobs were hurting SO bad! I ended up getting a mass in my breast again and ran a fever all night with chills and the sweats. It was terrible! I’ve had this happen a couple times before (mastitis) and it’s the worst…I can’t let this happen anymore because I can’t stand to get sick like that! Pumping is a pain in the rear, but it’s the best thing for Connor and I worked so hard to get my supply up that I am not going to QUIT and I’m determined to see this through. Terence has been my biggest supporter throughout, but I can see how a lot of people give up because it does take it’s toll on you! Prayers that it all works out…..

ANYWAYS…What I was going to say is….

Between May 7 and May 16, enjoy a half-price Frappuccino blended
beverage at participating Starbucks in the afternoon – 3 to 5 p.m.
Connor says “My Mommy is scaring me…she’s really an addict ya’ll!”
(And YES I do sleep all night…she gets half decaf)

  1. I love that shirt!! Purple is a great color on you!!

I’ve lost my phone in my car So.Many.Times!! It’s ridiculous!

And Connor just gets cuter and cuter every day!! You are so blessed! 🙂

  2. Hopefully things will get better as you settle into this new routine. Tomorrow is Friday and the week is almost over.

  3. You look so pretty in this picture! And don’t worry, I’m addicted to McDonald’s iced coffees which I think have to be way worse for you than anything from Starbucks!

  4. Sorry to hear you are having a tough week. You look great though!

Hope you don’t have anymore trouble with breastfeeding…I had a terrible time with it. I really wish I had hung in there. I think is so rewarding if you do. At least my friends that stuck it out say so.

Have a good weekend and I hope you get some rest and snuggle time with your lil’ man!

  5. I miss the Starbucks in my town!

Keep pumping as long / short is right for your whole family (including you!) Connor needs a happy healthy momma.

  6. He is too cute for words!

I will admit I was one who threw in the towel too soon with my first. I admire you for trying. I’m going to give it another shot with #2, I hope I have determination like yourself! Best of luck!

  7. So are you pumping AND Bfing???? My goodness woman!!! HOW?!?! Or are you just pumping? If so, what made you decide to make that call? Just wondering as I figure out whats best for our family too…

Also, does Connor REALLY sleep all night?!? When did start?

  8. I never thought nursing would be so hard! I’m trying to pump to build up a supply in our freezer so I can actually leave our little one at home with Daddy, but pumping is a pain in the rear! I applaud your hard work for Connor’s benefit!

  9. Oh, I was so happy to stop pumping when I started working from home!!! That thing was my lifesaver for a long time, though. It does get us through when we need it! 😉 Hang in there!
