This is how I roll

We’ve had a busy day today! We woke up early and I had my LAST appointment with my OBGYN doctor! Woohoo! No more blood tests, exams, and peeing in a cup for a long time 🙂
All the nurses were goo goo over Connor. He is so alert right now and doesn’t want to miss out on ANYTHING! He’s going to be a child of 1,000 questions I just know it! One of the nurses has a full row of gold teeth…

Sort of like these…..
BUT FOR REAL YA’LL!!!
She’s as sweet as pie though!
Then we went to visit where I work and Connor got lots of sugars and we went out to eat with my friend Julie. It’s amazing how much STUFF you need to go out of the house with a little one and can I just say car seats weigh like 200 pounds! Ahhh!! I go back to work in two weeks so I am trying to cherish these last couple of weeks with my baby boo!
And that’s how I roll….

Should I go back to blonde??? Bonnie did…that dark hair didn’t last long on sister did it?

Help the Brownies!

My dear friend Summer and her husband have decided to venture on the journey to adoption. If you haven’t been to her blog and read her story you need to HERE. They would appreciate any support you can give them. We love you Summer & Adam!

(Summer and Mr. Brown have taken steps to make their baby dreams come true via a private adoption. This is something that is in the works. The Browns have yet to get certified, so they technically can’t and aren’t advertising right now. But they will be and the costs will be significant. The Brownie’s will receive the markup on your purchases to go toward their goal to become adoptive parents.)

Also…
My nephew is in a local radio contest and we would appreciate it if ya’ll would
vote, all you have to do is click on the website 🙂
Vote for Jarrett HERE so he can win!!!

April Weekend

This weekend we went to the Arts Festival in downtown Fort Worth. Terence’s Mom watched Connor while we got to get out for a little bit 🙂 That was so sweet of her to do that and we had a great time! We also went to Thomas (our nephew)’s birthday party on Sunday afternoon. These babies grow up so quickly! Terence works on the yard a lot and is trying to revive our tree from the near dead….we’ll see how that turns out. Here are some random pictures of our weekend….

My honey – we were trying out a fancy camera lens on each
other…waaaay too expensive for us, but fun to play with!
Me-I look pale and sleepy
Obviously I don’t tan…I freckle
(It’s okay though-I’m channeling my inner Cullen) ha..ha..!!!

Connor is always WIDE awake and doesn’t want to miss much!
He’s smiling a lot too, which is hard to capture on camera

Lots of sleeping……

And eating…
And pooping too…but I figured I’d spare you from THAT picture 😛
Hope you all are enjoying your spring weather!
XOXO Becky

My Teddy Bear

Connor’s head is finally big enough to fit his bear hat! Isn’t that the cutest thing!

We went and fed the ducks today at the lake and we ventured out to TARGET! Thanks for all your encouraging words about taking babies out it public, it makes me feel so much better! I was at the checkout lane and a random guy just starts taking pictures with his cell phone of Connor…uhm hello? He just said “that’s the cutest baby I had to get a picture.” Still strange….hmmmm…..

Waaaahhh!!!

I’ve been soooo absent from this blog because…..

Mr. Cry Baby

I can’t stand to hear my baby cry. But he does and so I have to just go with it!
He’s been up all day and Terence just took him outside for a run with him….maybe that means he’ll sleep all night! LOL!

I’m starting to roll…look ya’ll!
Is it weird that I have anxiety taking him into public places? I mean I get so nervous he’ll have a fit and then people start to stare at you like “control your child” but sometimes there is nothing you can do! I guess it’s like that for everyone though. I’m going to go get a shower 🙂 Toodles!

Easter 2010

The ladies love him…

This year we celebrated Easter on Saturday with Terence’s family & attended church with them yesterday. Connor was good through the entire service! Yeah! We usually have at least one melt down. I wanted to get a picture of the three of us, but someone poopied in their pants and onto the car seat right when we got home!
Thank you Lord for my beautiful family and all the blessings this past year. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice for us so that we may live. I love this song…..
GLORIOUS DAY

One day when Heaven was filled with His praises
One day when sin was as black as could be
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin
Dwelt among men, my example is He
Word became flesh and the light shined among us
His glory revealed

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He
Hands that healed nations, stretched out on a tree
And took the nails for me

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer
One day the stone rolled away from the door
Then He arose, over death He had conquered
Now He’s ascended, my Lord evermore
Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him
From rising again

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming
One day the skies with His glories will shine
Wonderful day, my Beloved One, bringing
My Savior, Jesus, is mine
