Snowy Weekend

We had a record amount of snow here in Texas on Thursday and Friday. It has been beautiful with all the white around. Of course I still had to go to work! Blah! Terence took me in on Friday and picked me up…we did get to go home a couple hours early though. I’m still hanging in there…I don’t feel like it will be that much longer until Connor arrives, or at least I hope not! I am SO ready to see his precious face!

Here is our back yard

Today Terence’s mom and dad came over and they installed the curtains she made for the extra bedroom. They are HUGE curtains to fit the 10 ft ceilings and they match great! The light comes in this room every morning and it’s so bright, so this will be nice to provide a little bit of shade 🙂
(the ribbon is around them now to help form the pleats…we are going to take that off!)
I also want to hang this picture that my Nannie painted in the room. I think it matches so well and all the colors go together. I really wanted one of Nannie’s paintings just to remind me of her because I miss her so much!

Okay-that’s all for now!

Terence and I are enjoying some Chili’s to go and some molten lava cakes for desert! I really don’t feel like getting all fixed up to go out this weekend, so we loaded up in the car and got take out. I didn’t even put my shoes on! LOL!

PRAY BABY CONNOR COMES SOON!!!!!
(Oh-And thank you for all your sweet comments about Terence’s post…he LOVES reading about all of you as well and was very excited when he got comments! LOL!)

  1. My parents sent me pictures of the snow in The Colony. It was funny to see all of the snow. My dad kept asking about our weather here to compare.

    Love the curtains!

  2. Every time I see a new post from you in my Google Reader I’m like “ooh did she go into labor?!” 🙂

Love the curtains – am thinking about you and your soon to be addition to your family!

  3. Terence’s mom is quite the seamstress!! The curtains are gorgeous…and, of course, so is baby Connor’s bedding! And, I love your Nannie’s painting. Your right, it will look great in that room.

What pretty pictures of the snow…we got some flurries today. It sure is pretty to look at when it’s coming down, isn’t it? But, I do not like getting out in it to drive…people here are crazy enough when it’s raining outside!! LOL

Baby Connor will be here soon!! And, Terence did a great job with his blog post…so proud of him!!! Keep up the good work!

  4. Praying for you 🙂 I remember feeling like I wasn’t going to make it another day carrying my babies.

I love the painting…so pretty and it will look great with those curtains.

  5. My husband asked if I wanted to go out for dinner for Valentine’s Day and I was like, “Heck, No!” Haha!!! Take-out on the couch sounds like BLISS compared to having to get dressed up and go out!

  6. It’s been crazy the amount of snow the whole country has been getting. Hope you guys have one great last Valentine’s Day as just the two of you!

  7. I love your pillow covers! I was just in PB, and wanted to buy them. But I’m being good! Can’t wait to see baby Connors sweet face!
