FAT Tuesday

See all my beads???
I didn’t do anything for them except flash my belly…j/k!
Looking EXTRA puffy today…the cankles have now reached the knees folks!

Well, I am STILL here! Made it to work this morning and we all had a mardi gras fest. JoAnn made cinnamon rolls with green, purple, and gold sprinkles. Some of them had a baby in them…mine didn’t! That’s okay because I told her I already had a baby!

We had a customer fall in the parking lot today. She really busted up her face pretty bad and may have even broken her jaw! We had to call the ambulance to come get her. I don’t know how she fell…..
I was laying on my air mattress in the back on my lunch break when JoAnn (co-worker) asked for my blanket (a $50 chenille Restoration Hardware blanket!!!) because she said a customer fell. I gave it to her…of course….and then they asked if I wanted it back. Uhm…no….I don’t want a blood stained blanket back! Ahhh! Oh well, I’m just glad she is okay and if it means me sacrificing a nice blankie for that then so be it! I just wish I would have known I wasn’t going to get it back.

12 days until my due date
Lord help me if this baby boy is LATE I am going to suffocate to death! LOL!!!
I have a Dr. appt tomorrow and hopefully we will see some progress 🙂
ALSO-I was stayed in all day yesterday and I worked on a new blog design…it’s always fun to change things up a bit! What do ya’ll think?

  1. Love the new design! I hope too that baby boy shows up soon for your sake. I know by first hand experience, it’s no fun to go past your due date. Good luck tomorrow!

  2. I would be SO ANNOYED with the whole blanket thing. I mean I know it was for “the greater good.” but the bank should reimburse you. Like totally. I guess the moral is NEVER take nice stuff to work…. But you were super sweet! 12 days, you can totally do it!

  3. Awww.. poor lady – I’m glad she’s okay though. Sorry about your blanket. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your new bloggy design! I meant to tell you that yesterday and forgot. I can’t wait for you to have that baby either girl – I know you are sooooo ready! Big hugs my friend! :o)

  4. I’d be bitter about losing my blanket. You’re a better person than me. I’d be SO aggitated. But I’d feel to silly to bring it to anyone’s attention, lol.

Love the new blog design, where and how did you install that new font? I have papyrus font, but I’d love to change it up. 🙂

  5. oh my gosh, I have a restoration hardware bathrobe that is amazing…I am sure your blanket was the same material….that was nice of you to give if up…but…that’s not really cool they didn’t tell you why!!!!

  6. That’s too bad that you had to give up your $50 blanket. I hope the lady is ok though.

Hope you get good news at the doctor tomorrow… like maybe he’ll go ahead and induce you!

  7. Love the new look and I’m sorry about your blanket! Sad….(oh…and sad that the lady fell but I would still miss my nice blanket!)
