Baby Book

Here is Connor’s baby book. I guess you are supposed to take these to the hospital to have their feet stamped in them. I’ll go ahead and bring it just in case! Julie, my co-worker got it for me and it’s just perfect! I was trying to fill out some of the info last night while watch TV, but it’s so hard to sit up straight and write….LOL! I think I will work on it while on maternity leave.

Terence has been so good lately helping me around the house. I just have to brag on him….he’s been cooking dinner when I get home and making an extra effort. I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS! (ahem…I know he reads this blog)

Even my maternity pants are too small right now. I know I probably look like poo when I come into work, but it’s hard to look pretty when you feel like a blimpy. Still wearing the house shoes every day….oh thank God for house shoes 🙂

The first thing I want to do when I get home is just lay down…..maybe eventually I’ll catch up on some reading….in the mean time thank you for all your kind comments and motivational words….it really keeps my spirits up! I know a lot of you have been through child birth before and ANY advice is appreciated and loved!

  1. What a fun baby book! I know that I’ve enjoyed writing all of Tommy’s firsts in his. (o:

Lay down and enjoy all the rest you can get right now. Many, many wonderful and sleepless nights are ahead of you. (o:

  2. Bless your heart, I so remember feeling like this. Especially that last stretch when even your maternity stuff doesn’t fit. Oh, such sorrow. Definitely take the baby book, and make sure they stamp them. I also had a friend do a cool idea, she got The Foot Book by Dr. Suess and had her babies feet stamped in that, too. I thought that was just a cool idea, and hope to do it for our next baby. Hang in there, and just rest. Let anybody and everybody who is willing to help you do just that!

  3. This baby book is adorable! He’ll be here before you know it and it’ll all melt away because you’ll just love him so very much! 🙂 It’s great that your hubby is willing to help out so much!

  4. I’ve been following your blog because we’re due so close (I’m the 19th). I hear you on the clothes getting too small (really my maternity shirts haven’t covered my WHOLE belly in a few weeks now). I also am having my husband take on a lot more. He vacumned today (it was cute to watch because he doesn’t move things first–just kind of goes around shoes and things) and he went grocery shopping for me, too. Anyway, not much longer!

  5. Hello lady! I’m so glad you got my package. It was so fun putting it together for you!

Loving your blog and wishing you all the best!

  6. Love the book! I had the nurses stamp scrapbook paper (loose pages) so I could frame my babies footprints. They are now 7,4,and 2 and I have yet to do this (!!!!) but it seemed a good idea at the time.

  7. My docs were weird about it. They stamped it on the Texas thing and then gave 4 of the ink strips for us to do at home. Bring it, but we had no need for ours. It looks really sweet.
