Moving right along…

Terence and I are both off of work today! Yippee!! We’ve spent most of the weekend napping around and just watching movies. Saturday night we went to The Cheesecake Factory. My BFF Sara sent me a gift card last month and I was dying to use it on some Godiva cheesecake, plus I told Terence that is where I wanted to go for one of my “last” meals out for awhile before Connor gets here. It’s getting harder and harder to get up and moving each day, but I’m going to continue to work until I can’t anymore. I don’t know when people usually start their maternity leave…..but I guess I will just stick it out until then!

I look like a stuffed tater…going on 35 weeks
Here is the awesomeness that is Godiva Cheesecake..yummers!

Terence’s massive burrito (I had a chicken salad sandwich, but no picture)
And finally here are some puffy BELLY pictures….

Home Stretch

Cravings…. I made a peanut butter pie tonight with REAL whipped cream Paula Dean style
It was gooood!
Another thing I crave has been frozen grapes
They are delish if you stick them in the freezer overnight

These last couple months of pregnancy are going so SLOW! I’m having the hardest time getting comfortable at night and relaxing enough to let myself fall asleep. Poor Terence….I know I wake him up several times too. Connor is a moving and a shaking, especially when I lay down to go to bed! It seems like every customer that comes into work wants to share their birth story with me or tell me how HUGE I am. I know…I know….
Hopefully one day I will return to my formally alert self. According to Bonnie the sleep deprivation will only get worse. Ya’ll should go read her post today…I don’t know how my poor Momma did TWO at once! Bless her!
Thank you all for your sweet comments, they mean so much! Even if I don’t comment back right away…I do read your blogs as well….most of the time the words escape me or I just can’t think of something clever to say….
So many of you have given me great advice and lead such blessed lives, some have even become friends…for that I am very thankful! I am most thankful for the prayers. At this time I am scared and nervous about having a baby, the delivery, raising him right, will I be a good mom and wife and be able to prioritize everything? Lots of emotions and thoughts going on right now…but God has never failed me and never will ๐Ÿ™‚ Amen!
-Okay I am done rambling….I am off to bed or I won’t get up tomorrow for work! XOXO Becky

This weekend was pretty boring! I did go out on Saturday with my friend Karen and her baby girl and had a lot of fun! It was nice to have some girl time out of the house. Yesterday afternoon Terence and I saw Avatar 3-D and it was AWESOME! I think everyone should go see it…I may or may not have a slight crush on Sam Worthington since he was in Terminator Salvation. I heart him…..HOTTT!!!

3 hours of this…go to the bathroom before you see this movie!

BRRR…

Here I am at work today…drinking my coffee. Terence and I have been trying to drink coffee at home lately…but I got about halfway here and stopped at Starbucks and dug through the change in my car to get a coffee. Signs of a true addict I guess. I really have not been drinking much coffee lately…honest! And two people called in sick this morning so we are slim pickinsdefinitely a need for coffee today!

It’s amazing to me how long it takes me to get ready in the morning now days. Bending over to put my socks and shoes on…I make noises like “ugh” or “ahh” and teeter over like humpty dumpty. I’ve started to swell a little bit, but not too bad yet. I am making it day by day!
Today the high is 28 degrees, which is unheard of here in Texas. I am a furnace right now and haven’t been wearing a jacket all winter. In fact I have my fan blowing in my face right now! LOVE this cold weather….can’t imagine if it was July. HORMONES!!! These pictures are from a couple weeks ago on Christmas eve when we had a freak snow storm. I love the snow…one day Connor will be like “come on Momma let’s go build a snowman!” Can’t wait for that ๐Ÿ™‚

We are gonna blow away!
See it does snow in Texas…but only if the weather man says it’s not supposed to!

Tonight..tonight…tonight…

Is kinda blah…and I’ve been forced to entertain myself….

Almost 33 weeks and I’m gonna EXPLODE! Watch out!

I have another Dr. appt. tomorrow, which frankly I don’t get why I have to go that often because all I do these days is pee in a cup, check blood pressure, and get weighed…then walk out all depressed because I’ve gained a buzzillion pounds between each visit! I’d rather save the $35 co-pay and I’ll show up at the hospital when Connor comes or when they tell me to show up!

I’ve been officially kicked out of the living room tonight because Ter-Bear MUST watch the TCU game and “support” his school. I want to watch HGTV (Oh that reminds me…go enter the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway…somebody’s gotta win right???)

And last but not least…our nutritious dinner ๐Ÿ™‚

Terence cooked ya’ll!

Fashion Show & Weekend

This weekend has been crazy busy! We went out to dinner New Years Eve night with Terence’s friend Kyle and some friends of theirs. We were in bed by 10:30 though! The next day we went to BODIES: The Exhibition in Dallas with Terence’s parents. It was really cool, and in some ways very weird too. They had a fetal room in the back that shows the growth of a baby at 5wks, 9wks, 11 wks, 15 wks, and a body of a 32 wk old baby….which is about how old Connor is right now…it was so weird seeing an actual body of a baby as big as Connor! All of the exhibit was very interesting and I recommend if you are in Dallas to go take a look.
Terence’s friend Hyung that he works with went home for Christmas and we picked him up at the airport today. He brought us a big bag of the most AWESOME clothes for Connor! He is so sweet! Don’t you just love the little super hero outfits? PRECIOUS!

Superman & Batman

Winnie the Pooh onesies

Little overalls with alligators-he also got the cutest little gown set as well!
I just love it all! Thank you Hyung!

I got this Christmas outfit for Connor next year because it was 50% off and I couldn’t resist!
I hope it fits, I am not very good at figuring out sizes that far in advance….how do you/did you buy clothes for your kids that were out of season? I like to do this because you can get them so much cheaper at the end of fall.

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
I have been a little off the radar lately and I apologize….
I’ve had a rough time getting ANY sleep right now and been extremely tired, which I guess is only a taste as to what is to come! LOL! I just feel like a zombie…..
